Maj,
Suites is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in in BKK and actually the world.
It smells, dirty, is claustrophobic, and you will hear noise until 2-3 am. The hotel fronts a very busy...

OK.
Thanks for that. I was suppose to be checking in next week. I hate noise. I think I will change now.
-
Just for info, never go directly thru Phachara. The rates are 1/2 on the broker sites.
Good luck.
-
Good info.
My favorite one is Red Sky, Centara World.
Lebua and Banyan Tree just get way too crowded for my liking.
Also, I thought the food was better at Red Sky.
-
Ha.
Thanks.
Ocassionally I make a contribution.
Have a great trip.

I am a Holiday INN rewards member. They sent me an offer. It is $80 a night including taxes and free internet. No breakfast.
The regular rate on their site is over $100.
There is another new...

Just got off the phone with them.
No joiners fee.
I am a member and they sent me a special so I am booking this for June trip.
Brand new and it looks super nice.
-
Dude, it is always hot. Never too hot though if searching for pussy.
Both those hotels are nice. The PP is closer to NEP which I prefer, but either hotel is good I think.
-
Ask for a refurbished room.
Also, The food is ridiculously over priced and my experience, not that good.
Walk across the street to Gulliver's or around the corner to Monsoon for a much better...

?
You remind me of someone else who posted on here. Just question after question.
The Ibis Hotel is near Makkasan station? Ok, whatever you say.
You don't like the grittiness of Nana and...
-
i have stayed at both on this trip. haven't been to adelphi for over a year. both service apartments. kitchens, washers, etc.
i would choose phachara. both are good. gf. they are within a 5 minute...

I stayed there a couple of months ago and no problem. It is managed by Compass Hospitality which has never hassled me at any of their hotels.
It is a nice place. Go to the rooftop for a drink.
-
I don't know why you would consider those other hotels when you can stay at Maj. Grande. Ever ***** is not that great, and the Maj. Suites is a pretty much a musty dump.
-
I just booked it for my next trip.
This hotel is better booked directly on their site. They had a "hour special". I paid about $95 a night for a superior high floor "club" room.
Including a...

?
You have gotten some great suggestions. What "doesn't meet your requirements."
I still think Phachara Suites are your best bet. Great loc, large modern rooms with plasma TV, full kitchens, a...

Good move. Much better location. About a 3 minute walk to Nana. Very classy and upscale. Pool area and steak house are great.
You won't be dissapointed.
Also, I have stayed in several...

There are a 50 high end hotels in a better location than that.
You want high end stay at JW Marriott near Nana Soi 2.
The Continent on Soi 21 is brand new and upscale and a 2 minute walk from...
-
Are you lazy?
You have not done any research.
I will throw out Phachara Suites. It is 1/2 of what you say you want to pay. Upscale, kitchen, flat screens, gym. 5 minutes from Nana. Top notch...
-
Instead of spending time searching for a hotel, maybe he should spend it looking for a better job.
-
I stayed there for a couple of nights recently. Great location. And very new / upscale.
Only problem was thin walls. Four Arabs in room next to me with loud mouths. Get the right room and it is a...

PP is a Compass managed hotel. They are all GF. I have stayed at PP 20 times. I highly recommend it for quality and location.
-
?
There are many.
On 1/31 I wrote about the D1 hotel in Nana for 770 B LT.
Right up your alley.
But most of us can afford better than a $35 hotel. So why write about it.
-
Most of us saw it that way. Why, because we a red blooded pervs. I bet most women would not get it.
-
If you are an old man loser with no money, class, cleanliness (bring your own bug spray) , or appreciation of a decent living environment, go for it.
