On 8 would work just fine for you. 10 minutes walking to Nana Parking Lot. 10 minutes walking back to hotel. Comfortable. Good value. 1 minute to Nana Sky Train.

Yes, I've stayed there many times. Rooms are nice. Great location right in the middle of all the Soi 11 action. Definitely GF. Often they will take the girl's ID card. Good breakfast buffet.

I, too, have stayed at the Grand President several times. Actually, I prefer the President Palace just up the street about 200. 300 meters.
