Unless you walk VERY fast, its actually a tad farther than that with all the sidewalk vendors, touts, freelancers of all sexual orientations, etc. Running interference. Maybe half an hour or so.

GL, as far as I know, a Soi is a side street off from a main throughfare. There are thousands and thousands of "Soi" all over Bangkok.
You need to read the forum and some other sources some more...

I've stayed there many times.
Its an OK place but they do charge, or at least try to charge, a joiner fee unless you get a girl from them--they are in cahoots with Cupidy or some other massage...
