Whats the quality like in Emperor?

I haven't been there for 4 years or so. Soon after I last posted the situation looks to have deteriorated in Yangon, I wouldn't be keen to hang out downtown there at present.

Any intel on current situation in Yangon / Myanmar? I see the border has reopened amd govt is trying to encourage visitors. Thinking of heading there in a couple of months.

Anybody know if its business as usual in Yangon? I read in nws nightclubs shut down in Myanmar, but another report made it sound like only a shan state thing.

Keen to know about Yangon at present.

I stayed there last year. It really only exists thanks to JJs in the basement and the KTV rooms, so Its very guest friendly! Its a bit average as a hotel goes thou, and there's nothing much close by.
