I noticed that you've mentioned your boat in some posts here. Do you do the liveaboard thing when you're in SXM or do you stay in a hotel / condo?

Yeah, if you're going to Colombia, Medellin is the place to go. The talent is insane. Cartagena didn't even feel like it was part of the same country.
