Only during Saudi invasion. I've stayed here during my last trip, and other guests were from, US, South America, Moroccan, Euros, Orientals etc. Nice decent hotel. I suggest getting the Exec Suite....

Melia ever green as ever. Nice spacious rooms, great roof top with Sheesha, sucks that it closes at 1. Access to levels lounge given as complimentary.

Sea View confirmed RED, this is just a temp as per the front desk due to LE activity.

Melia on the other hand confirmed visitors as long as original ID. Not sure if it's worth the risk.

I think this happens to Sea View from time to time, I'm a regular there and once there was a report being red and the week after that me and the girl flew in first class.
