Ta muchly. I DID wonder if you were having a go at the lazy sods who ask too many questions and can't be ar*the to RTFF.
It's been a year or so since I managed to get down to DXB. I miss it,...

So when did the Hilton Dubai Creek turn RED, considering six posts ago you said it was Green?
-
Hi Jade,
Stayed in the Intercon Festival City a couple of years ago and had no problems at all. Lifts are to the right of the main entrance on the way to the bar. You can bypass the reception and...
-
I take it you DID use the search function at top right before you posted, because I found a number of posts saying that it was girl friendly since you could bypass the lobby. .
Just checking. The...

Can somebody please read the F* * * * * g Forum?
Just a piece of friendly advice. If you are new to the forum, please don't expect miracles or great amounts of information until you have...

Andy,
I've tried both the CP on Sh Zayed and in Festival city and both are girl-friendly. CP Sh Z has the lifts on the left-hand side downstairs by TGiF so you don't have to pass reception if you...
-
I can confirm that the Shangri La is girl friendly. At least it was for about three years when I visited it up to two years ago. You can either just walk straight in the door and across to the lifts...
-
Hilton Dubai Creek has always been GF as far as I'm concerned. You can even get to the lifts from round the back and avoid the reception if you want to.
No information regarding other Hiltons...
-
Nickc,
I remember staying at the SeaShell and it was a dump. It was also very NON GF at the time. It seemed geared mainly for Indian families. Not for mongers.
Maybe things have changed.

Hilton Dubai Creek has always been Girl Friendly. You can even get into the hotel from the back and avoid reception going directly to the lifts. I haven't read anything recently that has changed this...
-
When I was last in the Grand Hyatt a couple of years ago, the bellboy said that if the girls left before 10 there would be no problem. I didn't partake that night since the following night I was...
-
Eric,
Check out the search function re Ramada Continental, and also go online to see where it is. The Continental, I believe is on the far side of town, well away from the action.
A quick...

Gray,
Before you book, I'd advise checking the forum to see if it is green. I can't remember, but I believe that it might not be. I have a very faint memory that it might be like the York. Great...

Hi GF,
The Ibis is green, at least it was when I stayed there a couple of years ago. The rooms are a bit on the small side and don't have a minibar, but otherwise they were ok. The security could...
-
Hi Aamirr, if you had taken the trouble to read just six posts down you would have seen that I posted that the Karama Hotel charges only 200 Aed a night and has Ratskys. . .
I believe that this...
-
Just a quick note to confirm that the Karama is certainly still GREEN. I stayed there for one night last weekend before moving to the Crowne Plaza Festival City.
I stayed there for two reasons,...
-
Thanks Brownian and Wicked for the feedback.
I'm arriving in DXB on the Thursday and staying in the Karama for one night before I move to the CP Festival City. I'm certainly looking forward to...
-
I've just searched the site for information regarding the Crowne Plaza Festival City and have drawn a blank. I can confirm the CP on SZR is green having stayed there previously. I can also confirm...
-
Big Daddy,
If you use the search feature and input 'Intercontinental Festival City' you will find a post of mine from last year when I stayed there for the Santana concert, (I think it's No.2 in...
-
After a break away from the UAE for about a year I managed to blag two trips on consecutive weekends. The first to Dubai the second to Abu Dhabi.
So, I arrived in Dubai and checked into the Shangri...
-
Reconfirm Ritz Carlton, stayed there last March and had no problems. The only trouble was that the room was miles away from the reception.
Also reconfirm Shangri La. Was guested on the 41st floor...
-
I stayed in the Intercontinental last year for the Santana concert. Had absolutely no problem bringing a girl back. Just go to the right-hand side door to the lifts (as if you were going to the bar)...
-
NightBird,
If you took the time to read back through the forum three pages, or used the search function at the top of the page, you would find the answer to your question. There is a very good...
-
It's seriously code RED. If you can avoid it, don't stay there. No good for mongering at all. I made the mistake of staying there a few years ago and was told that NO girls allowed in the rooms. It's...
-
DW,
You can add the Shangri-La Hotel, Sh. Zayed Rd to the list of GF hotels. Stayed in there twice and had no problems bringing girls to the room.
