Since the malls re-opened about 4 months ago, they have operated on a very limited capacity (here). Only a few stores originally re-opened, and at half-capacity (as required by proclamation). Later, more stores opened, with currently about 70% of them open, still operating at half capacity. There is almost never a line at the entrances prior to the mall's opening time since covid started. As late as last week, there were at most times of day only about a 30% capacity customer count in the malls, relatively light (especially considering its December / Christmas). But starting Monday this week, the customer capacity doubled (or more). As of today, long lines waiting to get in, with no more social distancing, the outside lines themselves people are close and bumping into each other. The Gaisano grocery store is back to its glory days of all 50+ lanes open with long lines as of 10:30 am. Heavier than normal police presence Mon-Tues this week, a few patrolling or one at the entrance of the mall. This morning at one mall entrance, five heavily-armed camouflaged police at just one mall entrance, helping the guards check every person's bags, eye dee, exit passes, face masks + shield.
Merry Christmas!

I see Duterte's finest sre now taking the drug war to neighbours, whacking them with impunity. No more Covid worries for them. Amazing who supports these brazen killers. https://www.straitstimes.com/asia/se...in-philippines.

The best sight you can have in a crowded NAIA arrivals hall is the empty APEC channel.

Think PI most likely get first proud boy visitors from either the colonist or thebetter country. The US is keeping all vaccine production within its borders. For now.

The interesting thing is that the cold storage chain for Pfizer / BioNTech is supposedly still being worked out, according to the news. I find that hard to believe as many, including Bill Gates and the organizations they work with, have been looking at this for some time.
Sputnik and Sinovac do not need such very cold storage. Also Sinovac is going to have more local production as with Brazil.
Even the ice cream I eat sometimes are not maintained in a proper cold storage chain.

Personally I am thinking that the Oxford vaccine will be the one here. The logistics of maintaining the cold chain on it are a lot easier for a place like the Philippines.

Hopefully, PI will benefit and things will recover.

Posts: 451Well. Britain approved a vaccine because Gavin Williamson says it is a better country. Since better people from the better country will soon be able to benefit from a vaccine developed by Turkish immigrants and rebel colonists and be able to have a vaccine certificate to allow the better vaccinated people to fly on an airline founded by convict descendants to the land of better pussies. So get in line quickly.
I am getting totally drained by all the parched pussies.
