The smartest thing for these airlines to do is to start recalling crews (both air and ground) and pay them a reduced fair if they have been laid off and get them back up in the air when possible to keep proficiency up, simply to avoid the possible legal actions that may come their way if they find out this accident was caused by lack of training / airtime for the crew.

It does not really work like that. You already have to keep your qualifications up every so often or you can not fly anyway. Most can also be done on the ground in an approved simulator as well. It is not as hard as you think. If you know how to fly then you know how to fly. You only need to obtain a type rating to be able to fly a particular plane over 12,000 pounds because of certain intricacies. The computer mostly flies the plane. And checklists are used to know when to flip which switches.

The problem is that is part of the "737 family of planes "so all the general public will care about is that it was a "737". Boeing just needs to completely re brand its product line to disassociate from the name carrying the stigma.

Better to blow money that way than to start paying out millions more in lawsuits, that is if one can sue like they do in the USA in some of these places. Better to show that they had some time at least flying in the air if only for practice than not having flown.

I've had a quick play on PinaLove for research, plenty of interest from the pros and non-pros (or, not as overt pros) as soon as I put up a picture. (Such a handsome guy like me, haha) I'm in my early 30's, white, in shape. But average looking.

Couldn't get anywhere with the non-obvious pros (didn't want to invest too much time, go to Whatsapp or be able to suggest a meet), but the obvious working girls were agreeing to literally anything and everything for less than the price of a pack of cigarettes in the UK.

I've found that how you act is far more important than where you are. If you don't like bars and clubs then the answer is simple: don't go there. Assuming you are reasonably presentable and respectful it's not difficult to meet girls and get their numbers in shops, markets, banks etc. Of course there is also online.

All the places you listed have both hard core red light and quieter areas. Just pick those that you prefer. Provincial areas can be much more relaxed but do take some time to settle in and connect with local girls.

Flying will be interesting when flights start ramping up with previously idle planes maned by idled pilots.

American cut it's flying by over 50%. Yet they kept about 80% of pilots on payroll. They have more than enough active pilots to cover any possible increase in flying this year. Recalled pilots should plan to be back on the street when CARES 2 runs out (March)..

If AA planned to fly those recalled pilots (who will return as First Officers) they would put an immediate stop to training Captains to be First Officers, and start training some active First Officers to be Captains.

My son-in-law is a pilot for American Airlines. He got called back a couple of weeks ago from being furloughed in October. When they called him, he asked if this was due to the recent money given the airlines by congress. He was told that the airline was calling people back anyway, despite what congress was doing,

While I too think Nov-Dec 2021 might see easier international travel it's unlikely to be a pleasant tourist experience.

Flights are NOT returning to normal with a flick of a switch. It will take years for forward bookings (and confidence) to return to travel. Also have the small problem of the airline industry needing to retrain groundies and pilots. For every pilot they need 10+ simulator hours to get currencies. Simulators will be the limiting factor regardless of demand and so airlines will be forced to charge higher prices. Then there will be the uneven coverage of vaccine where return travel from Philippines will be uncomfortable as our home countries may still treat us a a threat.

Yes it will take some time for them to spin back up with all of the recalls and simulator time required, but if they are given a date, say Fall 2021 then they can start forecasting and knowing when to start calling back crews and getting them up to speed. Just like in my Navy days before a carrier deployed, we would spend days and weeks on end going around in circles of the coast to CA doing all of the required carrier quals for take off and landings for the aircrews and ground crews before we headed out west. Same thing for the airlines. I predict, look at the bookings and flights available starting after April and you can see that what Fauci says, will probably happen.

I doubt there is much truth in what they told him. The CEO just sent out a memo saying how low demand is. The truth is more like 1) they are placing hope in the vaccine to increase bookings. 2) they are just being able to put the 737 Max back in service and they do not want them sitting around. He does not by chance fly the 737 does he?

Exactly. Airlines don't react on the spot. They prepare with forecasting models. They're already preparing for domestic flights. And most likely, they'll be ramped up when international travel eases up. Airlines are itching to get more passengers. It'll be an interesting supply / demand scenario once international travel opens up again. Will there be the same number of travelers as before the pandemic? Will we have enough flights to meet demand? My guess is that airlines will want to maximize profits after suffering for so long. So they'll start ramping up at least a month or two before international flights open up again. Korean Air's already starting to do this.

This is an informed post you make. The mother of all shake ups is on the way. The Philippines has banned flights from the USA: this is a big deal as the Philippines likes to rim the USA.

Here in civilised Europe, things will change too as no one can keep taking losses. Ryanair is trying to expand further (it has big cash reserves). It is banking on a summer 2021 return and pimping the alleged vaccines. But the cost of vaccines and tests messes up their cheap as chips model. I expect only those airlines with major Government / defence back up to survive and shaft everyone. BA and Air France in Europe. Some big Mid east ones too and the Chinese The USA, who is to say?

The Philippines is perhaps the wrong place to say this. But imagine you are pimping the Taj Mahal, some BS casino or working girl house. Keep the riff raff out and make the rest pay through the nose. Just drop the McDonalds / Jolibee model.

Actually prostitutes make my point perfectly. Most of them come from the slums but some can doll up, go easy on the yabba and charge a premium. It always amazes me I can get some tradesman to install a boiler, rewire a house, whatever and some slum lady wants as much simply to spread her legs and think of her trike toy boy as I pump my seed into her for short time. Though I get a laugh browsing the classier sites to see what kind of hobbies they have (art galleries, knocking back French wines), they ain't doing it on my dime. I have known slum hookers in both Thailand and the Philippines who hit it big. Some folk will pay a premium, no question. Those folk will have their vaccinated bums on seats no matter what the cost as soon as they can.
