Posts: 2What's the mongering life like in Philippines?
I'm a new monger here but I have been to Costa Rica twice and am absolutely in love with this hobby. However I want to look into the Philippines. Where do I go to look for working girls? How much does do they usually charge? Is there a monger friendly area?

Posts: 6834Getting a PCR test in Manila if needed. "Swab and Go", several locations in the NCR. P2350 (looks like 24 hours maybe) to p3350 (results 4-8 hours).
Brought to you by Westy's "Getta-vax / Give-a-pina-vax" program.

For those of us that have been clipped for thousands of dollars for last minute flights to the Phils lately, some good news via Jennifer Terry (first mentioned by West Coast).
Up to now it was necessary to present a negative covid test even if you were just laying over for a few hours in Taipei before getting the next flight to Manila. Just to be in the transit lounge! That obviously stopped lots of people from using Eva. From July 14, this crazy rule has been dropped and using the USA-Taipei-Manila route is back on.
I've been looking at the JFK Taipei Manila flights for September and they can be had for a little over $1 K. An incredible improvement. This undoubtedly will put pressure on PAL to lower their exorbitant prices.

Posts: 6834Is school about to re-open? Gentlemen, start your (financial) engines.
The pinay will be asking for their college, or their kids stuff, soon. Uniforms, shoes, backpacks, tuition, projects, test fees and fees for this and fees for that; all manner of supply. Those in-country are about to be swamped in poon-juice.

Landed in NAIA terminal 3 the other night. Easy peasy entry with One Health Pass QR code. You register online with One Health Pass online 48 hours before landing. They said before departure but it wouldn't let me do that. Also OHP will email you hard copy which never happened. Just screen shot the QR code for entry.
Upon landing a few meters into the airport they will check you for your QR code. If you have one then you proceed on. If not, there is a separate line to show your vaccination card and get processed.
I moved on to immigration. Right before immigration they scan your QR code and then you moved forward to immigration. No lines. I was finished in 2 minutes. Possibly because my plane landed 20 minutes early and there were no other planes. Clearly they were caught off guard as there were only 3 immigration lines. As I went thru the line I could see 4 other immigration officers rushing to open up.

1) Government mis-information?
2) Internet mis-information?
3) Nobody really knows what to expect?
4) "Hope it works once I land at NAIA based on what that chick Jennifer Terri said on youtube"?
We would all be shocked. SHOCKED to learn this. Previously (2 months ago) on the OHP website, if you failed to upload a pic of your vaccination card, you had to drop down a menu of Q hotels and choose one (you could not proceed with your OHP requirements without it). The list had more than 500 hotels in the NCR. As I am not utilizing the OHP website, I am not sure if that part is even still there. However from the vid provided by Breadman of the KL-NAIA gent who was turned away a few weeks ago, that gent was provided with a list of such Q hotels at NAIA; he and the missus were shown in his vid as busy calling some of those hotels (he had forgotten to get his pre-departure covid test).

The language seems to have changed and now states "Unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, and those whose vaccination status cannot be verified are not Allowed to travel to the Philippines. ".
https://www.philippineairlines.com/e...%20parent%2Fs.
Edit: actually at the top of the page is says this "International passengers must follow the arrival procedures of their PH port of entry mandated by PAL and the Philippine Government. Unvaccinated, partially vaccinated, and passengers whose vaccination status cannot be verified shall be required to complete a facility-based quarantine at the first port of entry into the Philippines, regardless the onward domestic destination. Ensure to check your first PH arrival airport prior to booking the facility." meh? I dont know.... lol!

I am not going to get caught out with such cross messages, arguing with an immigration moron. Nazi / official. I do miss the BBFS and the clap but I have other interests. I was out weeding this morning, much better than being forced to give BBNJCIM in some Manila dungeon.
