Not that facts are likely to sway you but in 2021 in the US 600 kids died from Covid. Zero died from Covid Vaccine. You can look up CDC data. So your statement above is blatantly untrue.

Well my original post on this forum here (and to which my updated post here referred to) was specifically about my experience with the vax record regulations leaving the Philippines and going to Bkk, and there was a bit of an overlap in my post between the 2 countries, but I think it would have been of interest to those like me travelling from the Philippines to Thailand.

My update post on the face mask situation in BKK which you referred to, was posted in this Philippine forum because my original post in the Philippines forum mentioned the mask situation in Bkk.

Are you talking about the other guy? Cause I wear my mask but not for the reason everyone else is. Videography of red light areas is through the roof so the mask is just for personal privacy rather than for the health aspect. They are starting to live stream in bars now too. A few Facebook groups I've been in there have been more than a few live streams from bars. I've considered just cutting massive hole on the under side of the mask and leave the face covered areas.

Afaik they are still thinking about arresting people for breaking there mask mandates in the Philippines. Inside walking street past the mayors tourist police it is pretty safe but outside the confines of the tourist bubbles in public areas in phils masks are still required. Unless you have "new" information regarding the Philippines. ("All persons shall wear well-fitted face masks and face shields, if necessary, especially in public areas and enclosed spaces. This MRT video a few days ago there are not any unmasked individuals on the MRT no hint of this being non compulsory on public transportation.

I do happen to have the skills to forge stuff like this. Not that it's necessary. All the hoops you jump through to get your QR code, and they don't even scan it, not at any point during the travel process. So yeah it's basically the honor system.

Apparently a face mask is required on public transport, I have used meter taxis and both the MRT and the BTS since I arrived and never bothered with a face mask and I was never challenged.

You still need your Philippines health pass to be done prior to boarding. Not a problem if you are vaccinated. You should check on process if not.

I will take another look at the regulations a bit nearer to my departure date from Thailand.

I am anti-mask for the vaccinated, and pro 'restrict the unvaccinated from participating in society'. I guess if you want to commit international felonies that is between you and your god, the universe, Allah, or whatever imaginary deity you worship.

My pro mask stance for the unvaccinated is mostly punitive because I like punishing people. But as I said, you do you. Faking a vax card and committing international crimes is between you and your higher power.

Makes sense to punish people for not having covid because you feel they should undergo a medical process that you thought was in your best interest.

I do not subscribe to a higher power, but if I did I would thank it for living in a world filled with loop holes and gray areas, enabling me not to be a follower, but to broaden my search for swallowers.

I have no interest in a Covid debate. An anecdotal statement about someone vaccinated getting covid is nonsensical and confusing, because we've known for a long time that being vaccinated does not keep you from getting it, particularly not with the current variant. My best friend is an ER doctor and has treated literally thousands of covid patients in her hospital, and not one was vaccinated. And yes that's anecdotal evidence but let your logical brain do with that what you will. There are lots of laws I would prefer not to follow. Hell I pay too much in taxes. But I pay them because I would prefer not to be a felon and go to prison, but also there's an ethical element where I realize I need to do it to be a contributing member of society. Plus it builds some roads I drive on. It's pretty clear that masks have little effect when we're talking in a practical sense in a day-to-day general population. So. Maybe its specific for Europe, but first check if you are not already covered by your credit or debit card.

Covid, it's included in my credit card insurance which I will rely on. I think it is unlimited medical coverage BTW, certainly more than the coverage Ph entry is requesting.

Saying that though I am still likely to take out a standalone travel insurance policy for the $100. The credit card insurance doesn't cover private hire of drivers. I felt the description would exclude my various cover when being driven by Grab and other drivers IE the guy I text to drive me from NAIA to AC.
