Please do NOT import Costa Rican prices to the Philippines!

So true, and maybe I'm going out on a limb here, but it would seem like mongering activity is not one of those that will earn you a beheading. Just stay away from selling Avon cosmetics and herbal teas and the OP might be just fine?

I would agree with Expat American on this.

Or if you need details as your question begs so many better PM me.

    Look forward to it.

The rain and heat might get you before Covid.

    Hydrate. Hydrate.

I am just fearing more brown outs and / or blackouts.

Had to cancel my trip due to a medial issue. I'll try to reschedule in March, 2023

Very disappointed. But all the advice and info this community provided will not go to waste.

I will reschedule early next year.

Thanks to all of you for your help.

Getting a PCR test in Manila if needed. "Swab and Go", several locations in the NCR. P2350 (looks like 24 hours maybe) to p3350 (results 4-8 hours).

    Brought to you by Westy's "Getta-vax / Give-a-pina-vax" program.

This brings back memories of a gal who ran out of cooking school tuition. I didn't pay her balance, but I contributed a few k pesos to her cause. Very tired after those 2 days together! LOL!

    Eva Air

For those of us that have been clipped for thousands of dollars for last minute flights to the Phils lately, some good news via Jennifer Terry (first mentioned by West Coast).

Up to now it was necessary to present a negative covid test even if you were just laying over for a few hours in Taipei before getting the next flight to Manila. Just to be in the transit lounge! That obviously stopped lots of people from using Eva. From July 14, this crazy rule has been dropped and using the USA-Taipei-Manila route is back on.

I've been looking at the JFK Taipei Manila flights for September and they can be had for a little over $1 K. An incredible improvement. This undoubtedly will put pressure on PAL to lower their exorbitant prices.

    I hate you. 😜.

A couple of trips ago, I arrived in Cebu at the beginning of exam season and left completely drained. It's still burnt into my memory.

    I'm not jealous. Really I'm not. 🤬.

    Enjoy. G.

Blended learning from August for kids. 'Single' mum's will definitely be financing everything mentioned.

    Gents and who ever

Landed in NAIA terminal 3 the other night. Easy peasy entry with One Health Pass QR code. You register online with One Health Pass online 48 hours before landing. They said before departure but it wouldn't let me do that. Also OHP will email you hard copy which never happened. Just screen shot the QR code for entry.

Upon landing a few meters into the airport they will check you for your QR code. If you have one then you proceed on. If not, there is a separate line to show your vaccination card and get processed.

I moved on to immigration. Right before immigration they scan your QR code and then you moved forward to immigration. No lines. I was finished in 2 minutes. Possibly because my plane landed 20 minutes early and there were no other planes. Clearly they were caught off guard as there were only 3 immigration lines. As I went thru the line I could see 4 other immigration officers rushing to open up.
