    Biometrics.

I reckon movements are still monitored. Biometric passports are scanned. Israel has visiting edge technology to monitor Palestinians crossing the checkpoints but relies on personal inspections at Tel Aviv. I know a naughty American who gets pulled every time he returns to the Land of the Free as he is obviously on a list. Many years ago, I lost my Thai chit but they could dig up the other half of it when I was leaving Thailand. They want records of all movements, more so and this age of criss crossing data sets. Interesting topic.

Or do you not possess an Australian passport anymore?

And yeah in boracay I'm definitely check her place out. If someone was born to be something that chick was born to be a hooker with a body like that.

Last year, I visited the Intramuros office to extend several times. On previous trips to the BI to extend, the extension was not a stamp. I got a small sticker, about 1 x2", looks like it has some metalic foil on it, placed right next to the inbound stamp. The sticker shows the new extended date.

However last year my first visit to BI Intramuros did not get that sticker. I got a paper receipt, approximately 3 x9". It looks a bit like the grocery receipt you get when buying at the grocery store. It shows office location, name, fees paid, and new visa departure date. It was paperclipped into the back of my PP. I inquired, where is the metalic sticker? "We ran out last month. Don't lose that paper receipt. Its your extended visa. You will need to show that when you depart the country". Got it. Not terribly happy with that, as it might get lost. Hey, BI guy, what happens if it got lost, when I am departing? "Its OK. Immigration officer will have it on their computer". So, I didn't really need to save it. And if you extend there several times, you will get several of those paperclipped into your PP.

Two months later, in the province, I went to extend again. Those nice people had the metalic sticker and placed it in my PP next to the inbound stamp. Later, back in Manila and departing thru NAIA, I had paper receipts paperclipped in the back of my PP. The outbound Immigration lady never bothered to look at the receipts. She swiped my PP, looked at the metalic stamp, stamped, and I was quickly on my way, in-country for many months.

In recent discussion of ads on the site, yesterday and today my pop-ups (once on each log-in) have become a blank page or window. See pic. Leaving the new window open for a few minutes does not populate it with any advert.

I do not know if all immigration offices are not stamping passport.

I just returned from a few days in HK and they don't stamp either; you get a duplicate copy of your arrival card plus a small 2 cm by 2 cm slip of paper (the visa) and a short lecture not to lose it before you exit.

Of course, Phils still stamps foreign passports in and out.

I know Angeles is cheaper. Would like to go to Angeles to cross off list. Manila to Angeles 2 hrs to??5 hours if unlucky.

Ideal would be to fly from Australia to Clark and then do trip in reverse. Got a business flight from Aust for $2200 to manila early Dec so pretty good value.

Ideal response would be. Nothing you can get in Angeles you can't get in Manila at approx same price and quality.

    Appreciate.
If you have never been to AC it's certainly worth a look for a few days.

Sorry for the non ideal answer but both quality and cost are higher in Manila at the top end. Mid to low end it's the same.

Sabang to AC by road is an all day affair. You might want to look into flying Juan Air or AirTrav. Much more civilised.

    Angeles or Manila after Sabang

Quick question - 2 wk trip. Going to Sabang. Maybe 7 days or so. After that have been thinking about Angeles or just stay in manila. Pros / Cons.

Will have to stay day in Manila when arrive (arrive 6 pm too late to get to Batangas & ferry) and then trip from Sabang to Angeles (5 hours if lucky. More like 6/7) so will break up and stay in Manila.

Considering I have 2 wks and with above schedule will spend 2 nights in Manila. Any point to go to Angeles for 5 days (also thinking about trip back to manila for airport).
