    JFK vs NAIA

A last note: to those who complain about Manila International, JFK is just as bad or worse because we have no excuse. What a mess. Compare JFK or MIA to Changi Airport. I think it is indicative of where the USA is heading.[/QUOTE]To Natty.

I don't think JFK is nearly as bad as NAIA I don't think any major airport is worst in the world, JFK is under remodeling so it is a mess but I agree Changi and HKIA is the best airport in Asia by far.

Are you kidding? I don't think a word for "logic" exists in the Philippines, nor the concept.

    Delta Comes Through

I have no love of the large international airlines. Can they design a smaller space for their coach seats? I don't think so, but once in a while they can come through and on those rare occasions I think it should be duly noted.

For late September, I had applied my 65, 000 miles for a free Delta coach roundtrip ticket from Fort Lauderdale to Manila. On the morning of the flight, I arrived at the airport in Ft. Lauderdale at 8:30am with 2 hours to spare before takeoff. I hand the representative my E ticket and wait to be processed, but the representative is taking a very long time to check me in so after a reasonable wait, I ask her if there is a problem and she replies 'YES, there is a problem! ' The Ft. Lauderdale flight to Detroit is going to be 5 hours late and so I will miss my connection to Manila. Shit! The worst thing you want to hear. But wait, she finds an empty seat on the Miami to Detroit flight that will just get me into Detroit with 45 minutes to spare. But the only available seat on the flight is 1st class and I have a little more than an hour to get to MIA to catch the flight. Boom! So she gives me the updated ticket and a voucher for limousine service from FLL to MIA. The limo is waiting for me curbside outside the terminal and off we go. Fortunately the ride down to Miami is smooth and it takes only around 30 minutes. Normally at 9:00am there is still rush hour traffic grid lock on the highway. Only after the MIA Delta check in is over, do I finally start to relax again. I still have 21 hours ahead of me until I arrive in Manila. I enjoyed my first class seat and breakfast. The MIA plane lands in Detroit and I hustle over to the gate of my connecting Manila flight with 20 minutes to boarding to spare. Whew!

I arrived in Manila around 10pm and take a taxi over to the Diamond Hotel. I was physically tired, but definitely not sleepy. I walked over to MBC, met a friendly Filipina, and my trip was under way. It felt good to be back in Asia. And I have to nothing but good things to say about Delta. They really came through for me this time.

I will only add, that on the return flight, they had scheduled my ticket through JFK with a 5 hour layover. That is Delta's way of showing you how much they appreciate your business and using Miles to purchase roundtrip international flights. After I arrived in JFK and went through customs, I went straight to the Delta counter and asked if there were seats available on an earlier flight to FLL. Sure enough they had plenty of seats on the next flight leaving in 45 minutes, but I had to pay $50 to make the change. What the fuck, the plane was 30% empty. But it was worth it to pay up in order to arrive back home 4 hours early.

A last note: to those who complain about Manila International, JFK is just as bad or worse because we have no excuse. What a mess. Compare JFK or MIA to Changi Airport. I think it is indicative of where the USA is heading.

    Airline luggage charges

Cebu Pacific has an efficient cargo terminal in Manila. You can ship parcels much cheaper than paying overweight fees at the checkin counter. Go to cargo 2 hours before your flight; it will go on the same plane.

Back in the mid-1980s, in my youth, I took a really cute young girl out of a strip bar (Yeah, they used to get naked). Talking about naive, after my first cream pie, she felt the man cream running down her thigh, and said "Uh, white blood."

On a later trip, I bar fined her again and after a night of bar hopping, hit the sheets. She was almost a natural white tiger and I loved licking her smooth soft pussy. Got up to wash my face and it looked like some one had slit my throat, ear to ear. She had started her period and did not realize it. I got my red wings that night and the extra towels did come in handy. I was in sex prison on Okinawa (USA military) and was not going to let a little blood ruin my holiday.

I agree it is important, but I admit that I laughed out loud

When I read the last half dozen or posts. It struck me as just a little comedic that on this, of all boards, we are discussing the menstrual cycle. Like I said it is important, but still made me laugh.

We must be doing something right. LOL

Agree with your comments, though variability in ovum release a / w/a fairly long life of sperm in utero (up to FIVE days) actually makes the window of fertility a fair amount broader. The only practical advice for birth control is that the only time that is really safe without condom is when it's a full bloody mess. (graphic source: UofCal - Davis)

Absolutely right. In fact, sex education is prohibited and there's a controversial bill on reproductive health being considered now. It's been watered down significantly because of the objections of the celibate men in skirts. Aka the catholic bishops who continue to have a stranglehold on this country. So for the most part, kids who attend public schools (who tend to be kids from poor families) are clueless about reproduction and sexuality. Evidently the men in black skirts don't give a damn if poor catholics keep churning out spates of poor catholics. Of course the rich and middle class pay no attention at all and limit their family sizes.
