-Befriending a driver is always a good strat, it is one I still use when exploring a new town. Casas' will serve anyone with pesos and I have seen them as low as 1. 5 and as high as 5 (but I have not been to one in since covid, so I would expect it to be much higher now) G clubs start at about 7. 5. Both will require a good amount of tipping (at least the first time you go) until you get everyones business cards, and make a few friends, after that you can just phone your order in.

-Their last leg may have been moto / taxi. If they are close, just send them a grab. If you get your 2 week head start, you will figure out where most of the girls are coming from. If they are mostly in the south, then you want to stay near Buendia / PITX as they will be coming by bus. If they are coming from the north, then something central on the rail line would be best. 1/. It really is trial and error. I'd agree that there are many places that will not offer extras to a stranger who they haven't met before. Taxi drivers know everywhere but they will ask the shops for a spotters fee which will be passed onto you. There are lots of outcall massage services online.

2/. YMMV but I prefer Makati. Lots to see and do during the day; easy for girls to get to; lots of shop assistants if you have some game; generally safe (r) night and day. Downsides are: many malls are higher end so don't just walk up to any customer and ask for a BJ; more expensive; a high percentage of the club's are noisy, smoky etc.

Probably a well-trodden topic, but I would appreciate you guys' input. Putting it in general info since it's not really just a Manila neighborhoods question.

Going back to Manila in June for a pure two-week fuck trip. Went for the first time this January and stayed in both Malate and Makati but was traveling with a non-mongering friend so I could not focus fully on the hobby. Both Malate and Makati had pros and cons: I liked the more rough-and-tumble vibe of Malate as well as the fact that it feels like it's more spread out; however, PL girls were less willing to book a moto / taxi to Malate (perceived danger / more distance). Makati: easier to get PL girls to come; more expensive and feels limited to basically just P Burgos St. And a few side streets.

My general modus operandi so far has been PL, with what I consider good success. Plenty of cute 18 and 19-year olds. For the upcoming trip, I will however make sure to screen for whether they have had babies. Sure it's going to limit the pickings, but it's worth it, I think.

I am open to the concept of picking up girls in malls or on the street (whether civilians or freelancers), but honestly the bar scene does not appeal that much to me: too loud, too crowded etc. Big Apple in Puerto Galera was kind of bearable, being more spread out and semi-open air.

Recently I was contemplating how a China / US war over Taiwan would effect mongering in South East Asia, specifically the Philippines.

During the initial kinetic war most mongers would flee as the country became at the very least conflict adjacent. Hardcore expats that remained would have an asymmetrical advantage similar to COVID- but with the unfortunate hazard of being susceptible to actual missile strikes and attacks especially if the US began to use Luzon and other islands as a base of operations.

Once the situation stabilizes it's likely that Western mongers would retain an edge as the K-monger contingent would be greatly diminished due to mandatory military service and likely economic issues on the peninsula. I wouldn't be surprised if North Korea collapsed in the ensuing chaos. Travel to and from the Philippines would be much more expensive and harder to arrange. Mindanao would become more attractive as an option as Western Expats in Luzon fled to safer locations. An Angeles to Davao trail of tears for Western Mongers is easy to imagine.

Something similar would happen in Thailand, but it's more likely that Thailand manages to remain neutral and so avoids many of the extreme dislocations. I do not see kinetic war coming to Thailand during this conflict. Cambodia will be aligned with China and so Westerners will not be welcome there.

More generally, the world would initially be plunged into a major economic depression as trade relationships are catastrophically disrupted and re-worked with China and Russia on the losing end. India would finally come to side with the US. The resulting peace would not necessarily be a re-establishment of the Pax-Americana but a return to a pre-Unipolar environment in which sex tourism is more costly and difficult for the average Westerners, but for those that have the means it would skew asymmetrically in their favor.
