Thanks for the insightful post Mr E. I agree that Thai girls, in general, are simply more interesting, more fun to be around, and more engaging. I also agree that it's probably related to the culture, which in Thailand in rich and vibrant, and her is, well it's hard to find what people mean by "Filipino culture," except in some vague sense. But I think much of the engaging/non-engaging phenomenon may have to do with social class as well. I was invited last night to the home of an upper middle class, well-educated Filipina for Thanksgiving dinner. There were about 18 - 20 people, about half of them expats. The Filipinos were all "upper" class, and really fun people. Their English was fluent; they were well read, and knowledgeable of world events, and just fun to be around. Of course, they're also representative of about 5% of the whole society, so admittedly it's a skewed sample.

Different strokes for different folks. But for me Thais win on all fronts. I was somewhat disappointed in PI. I don't like spinners. I like girls with some type of shape. The girls were cute and they looked good with clothes on. But when the clothes came off there went the shape. They had no hips nor ass to speak of. If you look in the photo thread of the Thailand section there has been an ass contest going on for the past week or so. Being a black guy I have to have a chick with some ass.

As far as looks are concerned I think Thais win on that as well. I mean after all there are several beauty shops on every corner in BKK and Pattaya. (I have been with more beautician non-pros there than any other profession.) So what I have noticed is that Thais are more refined in that they are always doing something to their hair and nails. The makeup I don't much care for but they are big on that as well. They put on their gold jewelry and all that. To me Pinays were more plain. They didn't have any of the flash that Thai's have. Sure they were cute but they were a bit simple.

And speaking of simple, as I said before, in the wits department the Pinays did not measure up. It's like their only purpose was for fucking. They tended to offer less personality-wise. From the Thais you will get such a good all-around GFE that you will forget that the ones who are hookers are actually hookers. And they won't see themselves as such either. (This also stems from the fact that there is so much more to do in Thailand besides fuck.) For them they will get just as much BFE as they give GFE. On that issue your mileage may vary though. If you are a fun guy to be around and hang out with then you will be in for a treat. If you are a fat slob and only want to buy as much pussy as your money can get you then it won't work that way for you.

On the tattoo deal I am with CS. I much more prefer a chick without tattoos, but in Thailand you won't have much of a choice. Many chicks will have extremely large ones plastered all over their bodies. In PI I didn't notice any women with tattoos.

Just returned from a one week visit to AC and Subic after a 6-year absence. I'll share a few observations: Bear in mind that I lived in Subic for 3-years in the 70's and returned to PI several times since then.

1. AC has not changed much since last time. Still plenty of beer and pussy. I found the Pacific Breeze hotel to be a great venue and well located.

2. I found the larger bars to be fun but somewhat impersonal. I prefer a smaler venue where "Everyone knows your name".

3. After 3-days in AC I went to the Blue Rock Resort in Subic and hit the bars in Barrio Baretto. This was much more enjoyable as in the daytime I went jet-skiing, ate well at the resort, slept late then walked 50-feet for an ocean swim, etc.

4. The evenings were a lot of fun, as after a day at the beach, frequenting the bars in the Barrio has a theraputic effect. A few ex-pat investors have really improved the place with quality establishments and fun girls. Try places like "Bar Baretto", Lips (3-bars in one building), Wet Spot, etc.

5. Also, the resort has a nice floating bar about 300-feet offshore open between 1200-2400 with a nice group of bar-girls.

6. I allways tooK 2-girls per night so I could compare pussys and to give them something to do (talk, swim together, etc.) between sessions.

7. After the week was out, I was suntained, gained a few pounds, and had more than enough sex from some great girls.

9. Note: Buy several bags of lollypops at the local store and hand them out at the bars. The girls love it and you can get an idea of who the nasty ones are when they make an effort to show you how well they can lick a lollypop.

Cs, the Pinays are also getting 'bigger' over the last 10-15 years.

It used to be rare to see seriously chubby girls on the street. Now, not only are they a common sight, but those over 30-35 seem to be in the majority. Of course, the more upscale the mall or neighbourhood, the slimmer they are. Same holds true in North America.

Twenty (or even ten) years ago there would have been no contest with Thai girls well ahead on the looks front. Now I would not be so sure. I love little spinners and it is not so common to find them in Thailand as it once was. I guess its exposure to fast food (but you have jollibee etc here) but it seems that Thai girls come in much bigger sizes than used to be the case.

Another thing that I detest is the slutty tramp stamps that Thai chicks love to deface their bodies with, like graffiti on a temple. Thankfully this is still quite rare amongst young Pinays.

I have been to Thailand a few times but never to PI but planning one soon. Based on what I am seeing in photographs, to me, Thai girls seem to have prettier faces (highly subjective?) but Pinays seems to have better bodies. Too much generalization may be but would love hear comments form folks who have been to both places.

I've been once to Thailand and once to The PI...IMHO, Thai girls have indeed prettier faces but filipinas have bigger boobs and nicer asses on the whole...My favorite is The PÏ and I'm flying back to The PI next February but Thailand is nice too and I think i will fly back to BKK and Pattaya next September.

To me Pattaya is the number 1 spot on the planet. You will never run out of things to do there or places to go, even outside of mongering. In Manila or AC you will see guys talking about the same few places that you can count on one hand. You will never hear them talk about how they did things in those two places that did not pertain to mongering. The only pictures I can show people of when I was in Manila or AC are of the trike or me and my wingmen eating in a Chinese restaurant. I have hundreds of BKK/Pattaya pictures outside of mongering related activities.

You mentioned you didn't want mechanical but a lot of that depends on chemistry. That is why I like to shop for my hookers in the FL/Disco department instead of buying off the rack from a bar or fishbowl lineup.

It seems like the girls in the bars are under too much pressure so they tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to buy the drinks or to take them with you. Not only will you get the mechanical, runners, but you are also under time constraints because they have to be back at work at a certain time. FL are just in the disco having a good time. They are not under as much pressure and are not hounding you because there is no mamasan breathing down their necks to separate you from your money.

As far as those places go my rating would be:
1) Pattaya, 2) BKK, 3) AC, 4) Manila.

If you have never been to either then you should definitely visit the pair in each respective country, spending the least amount of time in the capitals. Hell, after all you gotta go through BKK to get to Pattaya and unless you are flying into Clark you gotta go through Manila to get to AC.

If so what is required to set up a bank account?

I'm an American and I have both a peso and a dollar account at the Bank of Commerce. I opened my accounts in Cebu and all that was required was my passport and money.

However “Big Brother” wants to make sure he's getting his share, so foreign financial accounts must be reported yearly if the aggregate value of all foreign financial accounts exceeds $10,000 at any time during the calendar year.

Doctor examinations in Phi is very cheap even if it is true. Only hospital procedure operation costs motre money but still cheap. Phi people cannot afford big medical expenses. However I do not think anybody is denied care for lack of funds.
These girls are pros in inflating the price. Some girls are nice. I had a GF from Leyte who took the bus to manila first time. The cost was around 800 pesos. But another girl in DIA wanted 3000 pesos to take a bus. When confronted she said she nededs to buy clothes etc for the trip. Maybe true , who knows? Some girls are dirt poor and do not have basis decent clothes.

Fairly common for pinay to use this type of excuse. Based on the number of women who blatantly ask strangers for $, filipinas are the sickest group of people on earth. Related request: father has cancer, mom's in the hospital, and so on. About every 4th girl I chat with from DIA makes a medical request at some point. You think they'd be the healthiest people on earth, as often as they go to the doctor.
