This year on my trip on June / July my Travel Insurance payed me 15,000 php for dentist emergency, which was close to $400 CAD.

For me Travel Insurance is very important, you never know when you will get sick.

LOL one of the reasons I am visiting now is to get dental work done. To get it done in Australia would be 4 to 5 times the cost. Basically pays for my trip and accommodation and sex.

It is for Aussies (young mainly) in Bali, had lots of those in the press recently saying someone fell off a bike or did something stupid while on drink and / or drugs and please helps raise $100 k++ for hospital and medivac.

I do get them travel insurance. If you buy their policy in Ph it is dirt cheap.

From Aust when I take my sugar babe (non pinay) it costs me $108 for two weeks to cover USA. It's peace of mind.

I don't use Travel Insurance anywhere, for myself or my Portable Hooker Collection. Its generally heavily commision based so the premiums are inflated to the point that the cost vs risk just don't add up. Do the math. A lot of the times I would have to have a claim every second trip just to make it worth while. If something does happen, what am I up for? $30 for another hotel or $80 for a domestic flight? I don't do stupid shit like ride around town at 3 am drunk on a motor bike so serious medivac claims are very improbable. Again, break a leg and I'm on the next flight out. I've only been involved in a couple of medical emergencies with hookers and they / mama took care of everything. I didn't need to do or pay anything.

The one exception is US visits where million dollar hospital visits are not uncommon. But I'm not flying a hooker their so it's a moot point.

If taking my fav to Europe I do get as it can be expensive in some countries (same for USA). In Asia no as the hospitals are good and relatively cheap.

I also don't do stupid stuff. If you want examples then search for drunk Aussies in Bali on scooters. No insurance and huge bills.

Landed some flash sale airfare via British Airways 72 h farelock (s) for the Texan who has a more exquisite taste in mongering than Tijuana. $390 round trip Houston to Athens.

Between the 2 farelocks 53 hours remaining to decide.

Option A.) Short 5 day trip only in Athens and maybe time for a daytrip to other Eastern Euro city.

Option P.) Longer 2 week trip to Athens. Window for trip within trip. Scoot Airlines with carryon only has flight from Athens to Manila under $470 rt. Get the best of two monger scenes.

If Option A: would only eat 3 days of PTO. But no Pinays. Could gamble within next few weeks some airline will throw out flash sale from Texas to East Asia and can do Manila different trip later in year.

If Option P: would be two weeks eating WAY more than 3 days of PTO, mainly from Scoot's limited availability eating 6 days. Really 4 is plenty but 6 is much, especially chipping away at my PTO balance. Maybe can take a break from monger and day trip to Hong Kong via $75 rt Cebu Pacific and tell my friends what tear gas tastes like.

Also appears over a 15 day span, 2. 5 days would be spent in an airplane.

Wildcard: my non-monger circle WILL scrutinize and question my noticeable lack of Facebook updates and overall radio blackout.

Last time in Athens: told my circle 3 days Prague, 3 Vienna, 3 Budapest. In reality did 2 days Prague 2 Vienna 2 Budapest 3 Athens.

Last time in Philippines: told my circle 5 days in Seoul with direct flight to Sydney. In reality 3 days in Seoul, 2 days into Clark AC (Jin Air) and out of Manila (Cebu Pacific) to Sydney.

I could dummy up a decoy Euro itinerary then fake an illness and say I spent 2 weeks in a Stuttgart hospital.
