As well as dating sites prospects I'm also leaving some spare days for whatever happens. Yes you'll need a throwaway ticket from what I gather. The bigger question everyone is trying to find out is will you be able to extend that 30 day visa once your on the ground. I've talked to a visa agent who said the Manila IB isn't extending visas but the Angeles City IB is giving extensions. And from what I have read you need to apply for the visa extension within 7 days after landing. If anyone has firsthand knowledge of what's happening on the ground please report.

I am usually asked for this when checking in for my flight as it is the inbound airlines responsibility to ensure you meet the outbound flight info.

Many airlines are offering free date changes. Would you consider getting your return flight on your inbound ticket and then changing your return dates. One less complication.
