I was also banned you need to get a different phone number and email address then you should be good to go its the best site if you are not banned also mingle2.com and tagged are free site you may have some luck on.

The Bureau of Immigration (BI) clarified today that the Philippines is still closed to foreign tourists.

"The country remains closed to foreign tourists. Only those under the allowed categories as set by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) if coming from green or yellow countries may be admitted to enter," Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said in a statement.

Morente stressed that, while there are encouraging signs that the country might soon reopen its borders, the BI will continue to restrict the entry of foreign tourists until the government decides to the lift the travel ban on them.

Presently, only Filipinos, balikbayan, and foreigners with valid and existing visas issued by the BI and other specialized government agencies are allowed to enter the country.

Those who wish to travel to the Philippines under a tourist visa may only do so if they apply for a 9 (a) temporary visitors' visa, and an entry exemption document (EED) from Philippine posts abroad.

Morente said that, while the BI is ready and prepared for the eventual reopening of the country to foreign tourists, the decision to reopen will come from the President and the IATF-MEID.

The BI Chief issued the statement following reports that the Bureau's offices were being swamped with queries from persons who assumed that foreign tourists can now enter the country after Metro Manila was placed under the less restrictive Alert Level 2 status.

"We advise the public to refer to our website and social media pages to keep themselves updated on our latest advisories on guidelines and requirements for international travelers," he said.

The Palace earlier said that the Philippines will again be welcoming foreign tourists "in due time," saying such a move will depend on the experience of other countries who have already opened their borders to foreign visitors.

I have been using https://www.dateinasia.com (free) and https://www.pinalove.com (it has a free version which limits the number of messages you can send, and a membership version with no such limits) and have had good results over the last 2+ years I have been living in Cebu City. But, as with all dating sites, it's a numbers game, so be prepared to put a lot of work into arranging meets by way of sending out lots of messages. My experience is that not all girls will respond, some will, and then sometimes after 4 or 5 chat exchanges they will ignore your messages. But if you stick with it I'm sure these sites will work for you as well.

Some mild good news. The bars in Malate / Pasay area are beginning to re-open. Padi's Point on Buendia (just west of the Taft LRT station) is now open. There is not entertainment allowed yet, but that could come after November 30 if the Alert Level goes from its current #2 to #1. Gentlemen, START YOUR ENGINES. . . !

Disclosure: I have no idea if anything has re-opened in Burgos.

Based on plummeting covid case rates in Metro Manila, Bureau of Immigration chief Jaime Morente is optimistic that travel restrictions for inbound tourists will be lifted soon, but cautions that the decision is up to the Inter Agency Task Force, per Philippine Lifestyle News, October 11. Currently, there are no outbound restrictions for Filipinos however, only Filipinos, Balikbayans and foreigners with residency permits are permitted to enter.

International travel for the vaccinated is starting to return with almost daily reports of loosening of restrictions; Malaysia and Singapore being the latest to announce partial re openings.

Maybe soon the games will begin again with gusto as planeloads of merry foreigners descend on the fair shores of the motherland. The board abuzz with chatter about the latest conquest; punters earnestly seeking advise from fellow hobbyists on the moral fiber of this or that bar girl; and the inevitable storm in a teacup regarding the member who 'paid too much' and thus 'ruined it for the rest of us'.

What a difference an hour (or less) makes. Now, 4:38 pm and 54 minutes after that post, the post's timestamp shows "Today 08:43" (see pic).

So I was wondering if the administrator was located in a time zone 3 hours ahead. Eastern seaboard of Australia? An Australian ISG administrator? Nothing against Australians!

I thought the times displayed were adjusted to the time zone nominated in your UCP settings. I'm in Sydney which is currently GMT +11 with DST, and the time is displaying correctly. Have a look at the Front Page of the forum and check the "current time" at the bottom of the page.

Check your settings.
