bb: your "this place" post is very appropriate and accurate, but your opinion on the [CodeWord123] case makes you look preety out there. just because the alleged victim was a bar girl does not mean she is lying, was asking for it, or is trying to extort money from the soldiers. to me knowledge you have not heard all the evidence, nor have i, so it appears you are assuming the soldiers were set up. i do not know the truth and wonder how you can be so adamant?

i am curious if you know more about the case than the public does, or whether you just assume our soldiers are innocent. i urge you to read up on the conduct of us forces in iraq (including the recent [CodeWord123] and killing of the 15 yo iraqi girl and her parents and 7 year old sister) before passing judgment. or the okinawa incidents that have caused so much hatred (and local pressure on tokyo to ask us to leave). or, going back a bit further, the my lai massacre in vietnam.

if you do have inside information about the case, then i apologize for presuming your reasons for exonerating the soldiers, but i hope you base your judgment on more than merely the status of victim and accused (filipina bargirl vs. us soldiers).

It is a great place to come and yes I would recormend it to all my frends.But like everywhere you have to play nice and think before you act.

Sometimes I've been in internet places that block ISG. One example is the closest place to the Marco Polo in Davao. I guess they have a program that blocks sites with obvious words like 'sex' in the URL. You can probably get through by logging in with the IPO number (whatever it is, we would have to ask to find out).

A few months ago, in the Philippines, I could not log in. My friend GE in Davao suggested that I was being blocked, but I really thought I had forgotten my password. But, I guess GE is correct.

Has anyone else had problems logging in while in the Philippines?

I got sick the very first time I went to the Phillipines. It wasn't bad diahhrea but it stayed with me for like a week. I still don't know what caused it as I am pretty careful where I eat and drink. It went away on it's own. The Immodium didn't seem to help much but I wasn't in real trouble with what I had either. I wonder sometimes about eating lettuce and tomatoes and stuff with sandwiches and burgers as if they wash it with tap water it's probably not a good thing for sensitive stomachs that aren't used to it. I would be careful about taking antibiotics too much if it is not something major as you could become immune to it later and might really need it at another time.

Never eat uncooked vegetables or greens whether in salads, burgers or sandwiches when in a lesser developed country. They are often grown in night soil (manure) because the local farmers can't afford to use large quantities of inorganic fertilizer. This is good for the environment but bad for you when it comes to avoiding gastrointestinal parasites or Hep A which both cause LBMs.

Orion is a small town barrio if getting off the hw going towards Subic you go right at the statue in Bataan ND go straight post it to Orion.It will save you time and traffic if you are staying in olongapo or other local areas.In other words it's just across the bay from Manila.Straight shot.

Some MP info I found and will utilize when I go to the PI this coming July:

For the best MP, I would have to say that it is Flight 168 (the MP of Airforce One), especially the “presidential” section which is the floor below the KTV. Nice big rooms. Queen-size bed. They even have aromatherapy stuff. Steam. They used to have Manila Bulletin but lately it has not been consistent. Flight 168 is in the airport road going to Sucat.

Starfleet, which is close by to Flight 168, is also a good MP. Rooms are not as spacious as Flight 168, but its good enough. Starfleet has a Presidential suite where they offer Thai Massage, wherein the attendant bathes you and lathers you with her body. I tried it once and honestly it is an over-rated experience. It was cold, chilly, and I think I got a bad cold right after.

Sylvanus (below Pegasus) sports probably the most number of attractive attendants, many of which are tall, long-legged, slim, with long-hair. My guess is that they are GROs who did not make the cut. The rooms, however, leave much to be desired. Yes they have showers and all the standard condiments, but the place just screams “sleazy” with its worn-out rug and hard matress.

I’ve also been to Skyline once, only to accompany a foreign guest from Singapore. They use the hotel rooms so it does look comfortable, but I ended up waiting in the lobby as I did not find an attendant to my liking.

Others in my list: Palacio Don Pedro, Wilderness, and Goodlife. Palacio is in Makati, near P. Burgos. Wilderness is the MP of Hearbeat KTV and can be found in Quezon Avenue. Goodlife is the MP of Genie KTV and can be found in Sta. Lucia.
