It's not just Jim, Bob and "them". Go look at the Seeking Arrangements thread on this very board to see guys drop hundreds of Dollars or Euros time and again to receive nada. It's no wonder girls are reluctant to engage with us that want them to actually earn their keep.

Had a bit of trouble finding SA here on the Board, its under http://www.internationalsexguide.nl/...-Arrangements. Pretty bad if those fellas are having trouble. I can honestly say that the video goldrush for the ladies has not stopped any of the foreigner gents here from having an excess of goodness, allowing us to set the tempo of having who we want, when we want (mostly). "Where" can be more difficult for some of us, as some of our hotels / apartments / condos / etc won't allow guests, so that some gents are being forced to use ST hotels.

This is a small pet peeve I have with Pinays. Many of the girls I know are very fixed in their ways and unable or unwilling to step outside of their familiar culinary comfort zone. This national trait is why it is silly and pointless even trying to impress a bar girl by taking her to a higher end restaurant when she would prefer her usual meal at Jollibee or some such place. So, I have learned it is better and a lot cheaper (LOL) to go with the flow and to ask where they want to go for dinner rather than taking them somewhere upscale that I might prefer. Surprisingly some girls have turned me on to some pretty good local food in unexpected places while other girls with baser tastes have nonetheless shown me what to order at Jollibee that is not too terrible like the 2 piece Chicken joy with rice. Still, there are restaurants that I just cannot stand and I will never take a girl to eat there even when she suggests it and really wants to go.

Thai girls have better culinary taste than Pinays because Thai cuisine is better than Filipino food, so I trust Thai girl suggestions more and frequently let them turn me on to pretty good Issan Thai Restaurants. But Thai girls suffer from this familiarity issue well and it is a losing battle to turn them on to new food ideas. For example, some of my Thai girls love Saki and Sushi so I take them to Sushi joints occasionally and we have a great time, but I would never take a Thai girl or Filipina girl to a sushi restaurant if the girl had never tried that kind of food beforehand. It would be a minor disaster and waste of my time and money. Let someone else raise their culinary tastes.

Yeah. It was a worry for me for a long time long ago. Luckily and fortunately I have found out over the years that both Thai and Filipina are just as eager to lap up my imported foreign semen as the local variety.

Cannot believe we are discussing rice but I did read research that said the extra energy required for the Filipinos to cook the brown rice outweighs the nutritional benefit which is why white rice is king there.

Philippines also has a standard measure for a restaurant serve of rice with a recent law allowing for a "half" cup serve.

And don't we all like the look on that Filipina face when we first explain that we might eat rice once per week in our country. Not for breakfast, not three times per day.

The world is seriously going to change if we cannot get back to Ph to continue educating these girls.

The husks are 100% inedible and all rice grown in North America has high concentrations of arsenic and mercury brown rice having higher concentrations than white rice. The rice they are eating in the Philippines is actually healthier for you in that regard and the food nuts say brown rice has something called antinutrients in it that being said it certainly is not MORE healthy than ph locally grown rice which will have lower concentrations of arsenic and mercury.

I recently read a study from Dartmouth that concurred in your concern about arsenic and mercury in brown rice. Apparently most of the arsenic and mercury are bleached away when brown rice is reduced to white rice. I found another study that says other nutrients get washed away, too; some of these can be replaced with synthesized nutrients that are added to "enriched" white rice, allow their benefits are not as good as those found naturally in brown rice. In addition, other studies indicate that white rice, as compared to brown rice, contributes significantly more to Type 2 diabetes. You get to pick your poison.

White rice is an "empty" processed carb because most of their dietary fiber and nutritional components have been removed. I try to stay away from all processed carbs in order to keep my weight under 174 lb. That is all I have against the product. A baked potato or baked yam, no butter added, is a much better source. Beans which are high in protein and "complex" carbohydrates is a good, natural food source as well. It is all about staying trim & fit so I can do two 20 something girls a day. Young girls are good for your health.

I brought back a small package of wild rice from Canada. (It is very expensive there and almost a delicacy.) They refused to even taste it.
I buy brown rice, the whole grain with the husks on it, much more healthy. I like the taste too.

Brown rice?? Is absolutely disgusting LOL! I don't blame pinays for not eating that crap, Black or Purple rice sometimes called "forbidden rice" however taste good and does have health benefits.

I wouldn't even say that Filipinos have a cuisine of their own.

Many of the things that are main stays in the Philippines that is any good are imports and their counter parts are much better than the "sweet" version in the Philippines.

Siopao, Lumpia = Chinese mostly hokkien Chinese.

Lechon, Adobo = Spanish.

Pandesal translates to salt breads but these things are VERY sweet not at all salty, almost everything in the Philippines is absolutely ruined by their need for everything to be sweet.

I think I talked about this before but Philippine food is not "good". I have never once longed for a taste of the Philippines in terms of cuisine. Only thing I do miss on occasion are those Cebu dried mangos. I think the mangos in the Philippines for whatever reason are way better than mangos anywhere else in the world.

As far as SEA is concerned I don't think its fair to compare Thai food to food in phils they are in a different category:

Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore / Malaysia, Indonesia all have "good" food.

Cambodia, Laos (although bread is good here), Myanmar & the Philippines have horrible /"bad" food. With very questionable sanitary conditions.

Is something I have brought up many times saying what is the purpose of seeing a picture of a half eaten burger, a Jollibee pasta dish or some sushi. They are amazed I don't get it LOL.

I get it. I am on three txt groups with co-workers, friends and fam back home, we are constantly txting pics of Starbucks coffees, home meals, and such. I think all of us are age 55+, close to 25 people total. Like teenage girls. Also several of my regulars WhatsApp similar pics back and forth with me, even when I am not in their city. Foodie pics, its a thing. Like sharing the meal together without being there.
