I don't use Travel Insurance anywhere, for myself or my Portable Hooker Collection. Its generally heavily commision based so the premiums are inflated to the point that the cost vs risk just don't add up. Do the math. A lot of the times I would have to have a claim every second trip just to make it worth while. If something does happen, what am I up for? $30 for another hotel or $80 for a domestic flight? I don't do stupid shit like ride around town at 3 am drunk on a motor bike so serious medivac claims are very improbable. Again, break a leg and I'm on the next flight out. I've only been involved in a couple of medical emergencies with hookers and they / mama took care of everything. I didn't need to do or pay anything.

The one exception is US visits where million dollar hospital visits are not uncommon. But I'm not flying a hooker their so it's a moot point.

If taking my fav to Europe I do get as it can be expensive in some countries (same for USA). In Asia no as the hospitals are good and relatively cheap.

Between the 2 farelocks 53 hours remaining to decide.

Option A.) Short 5 day trip only in Athens and maybe time for a daytrip to other Eastern Euro city.

Option P.) Longer 2 week trip to Athens. Window for trip within trip. Scoot Airlines with carryon only has flight from Athens to Manila under $470 rt. Get the best of two monger scenes.

If Option A: would only eat 3 days of PTO. But no Pinays. Could gamble within next few weeks some airline will throw out flash sale from Texas to East Asia and can do Manila different trip later in year.

If Option P: would be two weeks eating WAY more than 3 days of PTO, mainly from Scoot's limited availability eating 6 days. Really 4 is plenty but 6 is much, especially chipping away at my PTO balance. Maybe can take a break from monger and day trip to Hong Kong via $75 rt Cebu Pacific and tell my friends what tear gas tastes like.

Also appears over a 15 day span, 2. 5 days would be spent in an airplane.

If you are suggesting flying into Athens and then going to another city to fly to MNL, be advised that it is hard (lengthy) to reach other European countries from Athens via train. I doubt you will save any money over flying "direct" from TX if you need to throw in an inter-Europe flight. But if your goal is to spend time in Greece, then it might be worth it. Good luck!
