The last few times I went to the PI (or Indonesia) I did not have my travel plans (past my stays in Manila or AC) planned before I left. I really like just staying until I get bored and then moving on LOL. Before I left home, I have always bought a refundable ticket for onward travel within 30 days, printed the e_ticket and then cancelled. Takes 5 minutes. Every time I left the US, the was required to show (the already cancelled e-ticket) to the gate agent before I could board my outbound flight. I was prepared to show it to immigration entering but was never asked for it. Leaving Singapore on Scoot bound for Clark I was also required to show that (already) cancelled e-ticket. I was just careful not to book it on the same airline thinking the gate agent could not look up the ticket to see if it was still valid, though doubt they would go that far.

Airlines use two major back end system to manage bookings. If you had chosen two airlines, for instance, both using Amedeus, then they could check the validity.

Why not just cancel once you are in Ph? At least you didn't fraudulently offer 'valid' documents.

So I have been reading stories of guys esp expats and guys who do multiple visits to the Philippines getting freebies and having stables of hot girls who they just call up and they come running.

When I went to Cebu I use Pinalove with little success. Started about a month before lining up acquaintances and doing the ground work. 95% were time wasters who promised a lot but wouldn't show.

Now I appreciate if you are based there than yes this is possible as many girls see you as possible ticket to financial freedom but some posters seem to say all you have to do is point and they will fall over themselves to satisfy you.

So given I have had 3 trips to the Philippines and am pretty presentable I didn't find girls fighting to get me into bed. Walking around Ayala Mall I only had 2 occasions when girls would give me the eye and a conversation would start. I am definitely not shy and believe I have a pretty good "game" as some websites would have you call it.

So what's the go? Is this all big noting BS? Is it just a case of more experienced mongers or Ex pats just relaying their stories which have taken years to establish this sort of network?

For me from the West prices are rock bottom compared to here so I don't mind paying but it seems attractive as the reports seem to tell about semi pros who I have had better experiences with.

I was recently denied entry at Manila airport for being on the blacklist. I was given no explanation or reason and I left on the next flight out. I have no idea how I got on the list as I have no criminal background, never broke any laws during my previous trips and have no problems entering other countries. The only thing I can think of is one of my long term girls that I have cut off recently making some false reports to authorities. Some of those girls probably have my info because I have taken them on trips abroad and in some cases I had to sign forms at immigration to get them out. Can anyone recommend a good lawyer that can help me with this? Is it even fixable? Or should I just forget about Philippines? Thanks in advance for any help.

The PI remains one of my favorite places in the world and I'd be sad if I could no longer go there. I guess good the allegation was not so serious that you where taken into custody. For me it would be worth it to investigate and see if I could get the ban lifted, at least worth a call or two an a local immigration attorney to ask how much to investigate and possibly fix. There is a facebook group Manila Foreigners Club where you might be able to get some advice on lawyers but be careful, some shady characters on there. Look for an expat who has a lot of valid and useful postings to give you a referral.

Past that good cautionary tale about sharing your info with a local girl. I love taking girls traveling especially to places where local talent is either scarce or costly like Japan. Now I guess I got to rethink that. Also will tighten up on how much info I share with local girls. Its something I have known I need to be more careful about but have gotten sloppy.

Met this Manila girl on Tinder but she was such an obvious scammer my spidey sense was tingling and I declined to meet her. Before I blocked her she started throwing threats that she was have me banned by immigration, get me fired from my job (which is funny as I am retired) and ruin my life. Also 2 x in the last year a check-in agent (once in US, once in Asia) swiped my PP, took a long look at the computer screen, and informed me that I could not board the outbound flight from US to Phils. Reason: There was no return flight listed on their computer (no phils outbound), and I did not have a pre-approved 59-day visa (their computers caught this). In reality I had outbound flights on other airlines, but past the 30- and 59-day limits. Both agents told me I could not proceed.

I just spent two months in the PI and split my time between pros, non-pros and semi-pros. I spent a month in Makati doing nothing but non-pros and semi-pros. I was really trying to stick to non-pros but sometimes you don't know which they are until after you get them into bed. It was a BIG investment in time and I invested a lot of time in a few girls I could not get into bed. One very hot hot hot girl after spending the day together for lunch and then dinner, coming over my apartment, taking a shower, putting on my t-shirt and getting into bed with me would not put out. She eventually told me she had some chump Japanese BF who showered her with support and never wanted sex and that was what she was looking for LOL. After that I was ready to pack it in and head to AC and then I met a 20 why / o horny college GND type who came over every day for 'lunch' while her Aunt (who she was visiting in Manila) was at work. She never asked for for money until after I return to the US and I had to change her designation from non-pro to semi-pro LOL.

Many non-pros take a time investment that may or may not pay off. If you work the numbers, sometimes you get lucky and find a horny or desperate girl that is willing to jump right into bed with you no promise of anything. Sometimes you might just have great chemistry with a girl. I agree with another poster who correctly states the girls will smell desperation on you and that will greatly inhibit your success. I suppose what I have gleamed both from your responses and my observations is that there are 2 main types of mongers just like our sessions with the WG's. LT and ST.

LT' ers have the time to invest in the intricacies of ground work & hunting. Building rapport and a sort of friendship with the girls and developing a relationship that long term will bring mutual benefit. To answer your entire post I would have to sit here and pretty much type a handbook out. Although I love to share my experience, I am not sure I am ready to sit here and type out an entire handbook at this time.

But to get to the point, nothing is ever for free. You have a motive, she has a motive, what we are playing with is the time between your first meet, and the time it takes for her to unravel her plan. Basically you are taking advantage of her set up time, to achieve your objectives. Once she gets to the point in her plan where you have to make choices, well you have to either make choices or scheme to lengthen things out. So yes, in a sense it is free, but no one is that selfish, we do things for them, buy them things, just to feel less guilty about what we are doing, its human nature.

Many repeat visitors, myself included, find weeks or months of pre work online a total waste of effort. I don't even send a message now until I'm sitting in a hotel in PH.

In many ways mongering is just like courting back home. A lot of the guys' success depends on who he is targeting and if he acts appropriately. Yes, hookers will meet up at the drop of a hat but civilians may take a couple or multiple dates before anything happens.

No disrespect intended but your post reeks of desperation and girls can smell that from miles away. This often leads to over charging, underperformance, a general Princess syndrome or even outright rejection. It may pay to go for someone more professional or even lower your standards upon arrival just to get rid of the deer in the headlights look that everyone arrives with. You can then just relax and get on with the job in a relaxed manner. I always seem to gave the best encounters late in my trips, when the pressure is off and I'm not desperate to bed any girl that says Hello.
