Got to love Grab transportation service. Reliable transportation at a predictable price, and they deliver food and girls right to your hotel. It brings a whole new context to "going to Grab me some pussy".
Ahh, I slay myself sometimes!

The POEA is very strict about recruitment agencies ripping off OFWs and women who try to short-cut the system are usually the ones who are caught out.
There are placement fees and processing fees.
The placement fee must not exceed one month of the proposed pay for the OFW.
The processing fees can run from 8000 - 12 000 php (medicals, paper work etc etc) but an acquaintance of mine paid only 3000 php for work in SIN just last week.
If you plan to "donate" cash to a woman for work abroad, ask questions about the break-up of the amount she says she needs. You might end up helping her avoid being ripped off. Filipinos are experts at ripping money off their countrymen.
Google "placement fees for OFWs" or "processing fees for OFWs" and follow the FAQs. Many of these women need help to navigate the sharks who prey on the desperate.

Calais also sometimes needs to try a couple pf places to get. It is as much a matter of the attitude behind the person at the counter as anything. I have been getting it one place, thyen could not once but was able the next time.

Surely you can find a smaller pharmacy that will still help you out. Money talks in that corrupt hell hole.
In Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, etc. , you can still rock up and get any pill you want over the counter with no prescription at all.
Probably you can just ride it out anyway. Most colds and all flu infections are viral, which means antibiotics won't help with them at all. No way to know if it is bacterial unless you do a test. That can't be done over the phone. Most doctors where you are will be too lazy or unequipped to do it, but they might write a script for antibiotics anyway. Most likely scenario you just need lots of rest, drinks lots of fluids, take over the counter pain pills if it gets unbearable. That's assuming it's a cold or flu.

I am feeling, not well, as they say here so I planned to call my USA Doctor tonight for a possible prescription. Post nasal drip and coughing like crazy for two weeks now. So I went to mercury drug store and asked how they wanted script delivered in case I got one. Surprised me to learn there is a law here that pharmacies can fill scripts only written by Philippine doctors. My doc at home did give me a travel pack of a variety bag of prescription drugs just in case but this illness is something I am not loaded for. BTW I use this doctor because he is great and I pay him to be on retainer for me. I don't have any idea where to turn to find a competent doctor in Cebu. Any suggestions, I am not interested in being given a bunch of tests to pad someones pocket.

Thanks Master G.
You are one of my favorites on forum, with good wise insights.
I will see with FC about getting to bring someone to Sipalay.
Since I am there only for 3 days. I guess we can stay friendly.
Thanks again,
Vic.

If you want to import from further afield e. G. Cebu or manila, factor in breaks or a few days each per girl. I took a great girl for 2 weeks and by the end of it we were ready to kill each other. Far too long. See my reports on holidaying with a Hooker for details and a list of things to watch out for.
Enjoy, G.

If you are still there, a lot of the waitresses in the restaurants in the walkway between the Big Apple and the main road freelance after hours. Some were quite pretty.
The fee is payable at both Sabang and Battangas. I think it's only for non residents.
