I'm shocked you don't like option 4. Think of all those little filiipina asses you could tap in isolation with all of them.
GG.

1) They send you back to your condo to self-isolate, and test every few days, releasing you to return home when you've tested negative (or twice; or more times if your pinay is not happy with you).
2) They let you choose a Quarantine hotel (see pic), and you isolate there until testing negative.
https://onehealthpass.com.ph/quarantinehotels/
While that pic shows 3 hotels, there are more than 500 in that list if you scroll down.
3) They choose said Quarantine hotel for you.
4) They put you into one of their facilities until you test negative. These facilities are where they put their own folk who can't afford a hospital isolation. There is one on San Andreas St in Malate. You don't want to end up there.
Can't think of any other possibilities.

How was the issue of the Quarantine hotel handled, both in OHP website and at the outbound airport? A day or so prior to flight, airlines are sending this requirement (see pic). In one of Jennifer Terri's previous BOQ videos, when she was walking thru the OHP website, she said something like: "Don't worry about this (Q hotel) anymore. Just drop down the list and choose one (hotel), it doesn't matter". Now the airline is wanting proof of a Q hotel reservation.

1) The registration opens 48 hours now. Not sure when they changed from 24 hours.
2) Upon registration with covid test results and Vaccination certificate (I have used the Australian medicare express app to generate an international certificate), received an e-mail with a barcode almost instantly.
3) I will attempt to complete the health declaration online around 24 hours mark. I am sure my departure time is considered from mel than Syd as it is a single itinerary ticket.
Will keep posted here about the airport experiences and some FRs.

Posts: 5Positive Covid Test when leaving Philippines
I can seem to find any info on what happens if you test positive for Covid for your flight back to the USA Do you have to quarantine? For how long? And how bad are the quarantine facilities. Not to be negative, but would like to know what happens if this should occur.

The old system generated a barcode when you initially applied, a qr code when you were clear to fly. The new system generates a barcode when you're clear to fly, a qr code when you're clear for the express lane.
Que the confusion when I had to argue at check in on the London Heathrow to muscat leg of my trip. Barcode, no qr code. And they haven't been told of the new system. Literally the boq letter (will try to attach, if I don't have to resize it) I screenshotted was the only thing to swing it.
The qr code for the express Lane was generated precisely on time. Four hours before the muscat manila leg of my journey.

Posts: 499Yes, thanks for details, sounds crazy.
I just copy here her conclusion, the most important being the confusion between departure and arrival in the wording but the real check is made on arrival. So access allowed only 24 h before arrival.
Good luck for long range travelers.

These videos are from a Filipina named Jennifer Terri. She's great. She takes a direct shot at the BOQ for the recent kerfufle. The basic issue is this: The new OHP registration must be done within 24 hours of your arrival (not departure). That is not possible for passengers coming from the US (their flights might depart well before the 24-hour window starts). Error message from the OHP registration site, if trying to register before the prior 24-hour window before arrival:
"Thank you for indicating the date of your arrival. However, registration is only allowed within 24 hours prior your departure. Please come back and register within 24 hours before your actual arrival in Philippines".
Some strong word quotes from Jennifer below, and screen caps from the video:
"This video is not just addressed to travelers, to guide them, but also to government agencies responsible for this One Health Pass. You have some work to do, because of right now its complicated, its a mess". Ouch.
"Obviously whoever made this updates are not travelers. You're not thinking, you're not in the shoes of the travelers. You did not consider travelers coming from the US and Europe". Ouch.

Posts: 462OHP site is now allowing 48 hours before arrival date.
As I will get a RAT in the day before I think I will still wait until I can complete the OHP in one submission.
It doesn't show if I can edit the submission to add the later RAT result.

The latest updates to entry policy. I went to the horse's mouth, the BOQ website, and looked at "Travel Requirements to the Philippines":
https://quarantine.doh.gov.ph/travel...e-philippines/
Unfortunately, its dated April 12 (3 weeks ago), and not up-to-date for their own new policy (May 4). See pic.
