It was imposed 3 months ago, in February, but was lifted two days ago.

During the day the roads are very busy, with lots of people and traffic on the roads. The overnight curfew from 11 pm to 5 am is still in place so all restaurants and bars have to close at 10/10. 30 pm. At 10.30 pm it's like a ghost town.

The overnight curfew has been in place now in Cebu City since March last year. Having to be indoors at 11 pm is like being 15 years old again when your parents would not let you stay out late!

You are right that you need to be careful and it's always good to remind people here! But I always carefully vet as best I can before I meet up with a new girl, by way of chatting with her for at least a few days or a week before a meet. During the chats I will casually slip in a question and ask them how old they are and though of course there is no guarantee they are telling the truth, some are truthful and will tell you that they underage (ie under 18 which is the legal age in the Philippines) so I will drop them.

If they say they are 18 or 19 or whatever I will continue the chat, and then a few days later will try and catch them out and chat something like "so you are 17, going on 18, when will you be 18"? Their reply will determine how I proceed. It's one of many ways you can catch them out if they are not of legal age, and I have caught out many girls like this.
