CEBU CITY. Mayor Michael Rama of this city said Thursday that the implementation of his executive order regarding the non-obligatory use of face masks in open areas in the locality remains in effect.

Rama's remarks contradict the statement of Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos on Wednesday night claiming the city mayor had agreed in principle with his request to defer the implementation of EO No. 5.

Finally, after 2-and-a-half years, the authorities are today lifting the face mask mandate in Cebu City! Masks were required to be worn at all times when outdoors and when inside malls and public buildings, and compliance was close to 100%.

No sooner than it was announced, and before they even gave the ink on the executive order a chance to dry, the lifting of the face mask mandate in Cebu City has been cancelled!

INTERIOR Secretary Benhur Abalos Jr. Said Thursday, September 1, 2022, that Cebu City Michael Rama has agreed to defer the implementation of his order that declares the wearing of face mask in open spaces under its jurisdiction "non-obligatory. ".

In a statement, Abalos said he had talked with Rama since the issuance of the latter's Executive Order 5 on Wednesday, August 31.

"Mayor Mike agreed to temporarily put this executive order on hold by virtue of my commitment to bring the matter to the IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force) for deliberation," he said.

MANILA Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama is set to sign Wednesday an executive order lifting the mandatory wearing of face masks in his area.

Speaking with TeleRadyo, Rama said his order will only keep face masks mandatory in hospitals, clinics, and other diagnostic centers.

"'Yun ang mga sinasabi nating area na talagang we do not want to be telling them, wag na kayo magsuot kasi that is where infections are brewing," he said.

(Those are the areas where we cannot tell them to stop wearing face masks, because these are the areas where infections are brewing.).

Rama said the push to lift vaccine mandates is in line with the goal of opening the city and Cebu province as a whole to more tourists.

"We are getting to look at also our data. At the same time, we are practically opening One Cebu Island, concept namin with Governor Gwen Garcia, One Cebu Island policy with respect to many things, including tourism, and even our concern to address medical issues," he said.

The mayor said Cebuanos who still wish to wear face masks in his city remain free to do so.

"Actually, kung tutuusin mo, yung thrust dito, it becomes self-regulatory. Atsaka you cannot be compelling also, pag talagang they wish to wear face mask, (sa) amin that is their, shall we say, discretion," he noted.

Rama's order comes a few months after national government officials pushed back on Garcia's proposal to lift mask mandates in the entire Cebu province.

Asked about facing criticism from other officials with regard to his order, Rama said government must now "move forward" in the fight against the pandemic.

"We have to move forward, rise up and move forward and be more already looking at, from the point of view of pragmatism," he said. END.

Well I met the shorter one online about a year ago, it was either pinalove or dateinasia, I can't remember which one but those are the two main sites that I use.

I hate to disappoint you, but they are pro's! The shorter girl is a provider, and has brought me quite a few girls. The taller one has milk and was quite happy sharing it with me.

Apparently both were knocked up by their local Pinoy boyfriends, and yes, I plan to continue seeing them!

Try one of the large Pharmacy stalls two blocks south of Osmena Circle. There are half dozen located along the west side of be. Rodriguez St near the hospitals. Write on a slip of paper exactly what you want. Like 20 pieces generic 50 MG Clalis. I've bought there in the past.

The major drug stores like Mercury don't like to sell without a prescription. Although in one case I was able to buy some after showing my empty prescription bottle.

Am sure you're savvy enough to know not to buy off the street.

It's easy to go to a clinic or doctor and get a prescription too. Hotel might even have physician on call. Not that difficult to get online prescription online before you depart home or from your own doc. It's no big deal to write the script for most any doc.

If any issues to purchase just ask hotel to recommend local doctor or clinic near the hotel, go there and request for prescription. For a few hundred pesos you will get a prescription that works anywhere in philippines at any pharmacy. Or even just walk into a clinic you see.
