This is my report on Cebu city where I've been staying for almost 4 weeks now.

I'm 30 years old, an everage looking guy. My purpose was meeting regular girls or semi-professional girls. I was really inspired by many posts saying how it's easy to do this in cebu. Well, at least for me it turned out to be slightly complicated.

In overall I managed to get a girl around every 4-5 days.

I started with dateinasia. In the beginning it was really promising, I got 3 girls in 3 days, but after this it became a hell. Why? Because only 10 girls from 100 answered my messages and only 2-3 from this 10 gave me the phone number. Then, many of girls just have never replied to my sms. Those who managed to come for a date were not ready for a quick love story. So after spending a week on internet I concluded that it's too time consuming and switched to other opportunities.

Juliana was a sure option for 2-3 times. 500p for taxi. But not sleeping every night is not an option for me, next day walking like a zombi that's too tiring. I quickly understood that on a long term basis I have to switch to a daytime activity.

That's where I got stuck now. I've read so much sucsessful posts about mall hunting and now I have to admit: either I'm doing something wrong, either it's just a bad luck.

Ayala: I could see maybe 5-6 good looking girls a day, but: they walk with their friends or boyfriends or when I look at a girl she's making a kind of "don't bother me" face I've seen so much at home. There is a couple of hookers and lots of ladyboys but to encounter a single walking girl that will smile you back, that's a luck. Some of girls I approached with "Hi, how are you" were clearly surprised and not open at all. One girl just wanted pics for her facebook with a farang, but nothing more, the other one, I'm trying to date now looks like looking for a serious relationship.

At SM mall it was even worse, I don't feel like girls there were into meeting a foreigner.

What I'm thinking now is maybe I have to start approaching just every good looking girl even accompanied by her friends, but that's still difficult for me, kind of afraid of embarassing situations.

I don't see any other places where I can meet girls, except for nightlife, but that's not for me.

So my conclusion now, if you're looking for freebie girls maybe you should consider a different destination. Philippines are mostly for bar girls, other girls are too much conservative. At least I could not find same ambience I've found in Cuba for example where flirting is just a part of life.

But I'm still here, I feel like maybe I just still haven't got the right game, will try more.

So maybe, those who succeeded more than me, guys, is there anything I'm doing wrong?

Had 2 meetings set up with new girls I met on DIA this morning.

The first one, when she was about to leave for Robinson's where we were to meet, asked me if she could bring 3 friends instead of 1 for the first meeting, and would I pay for a taxi to and from Talisay (meeting her at the drive in, when they arrived, to pay). I told her emphatically NO. In fact, don't come at all. I have no doubt I could have gotten laid by her, if not all her friends too. In my experience, the good ones never try and hit you for high $$$ before even meeting in person and they can and should take a jeep. (Once I know them and have received good service, then fine, a reasonable taxi allowance will be built into the deal.) Furthermore I had no interest in paying for 4 meals and or 4 Bo's overpriced coffee concontions, which, sure as the sun sets in the west would have been next. 1 or 2 cheap meals I'm happy to write off as the cost of doing business, but 4 is just damn irritating.

The 2nd one arrived on time, and alone. Both great signs. She was 19, very pretty, with a fantastic body. Surprisingly she wasnt hungry for Jollibee or Mang Inisal or something like that, and all she wanted was a 50 piso shake from the food court. All to the good.

The bad was, however, that she was angling for a boyfriend, not a playmate, despite what I indicated to her in prior chat. Ohh, well, I would have liked to bang her, but it wasnt meant to be. If your mining the DIA route, this is par for the course. A certain perctage of girls know what your after, but are desparate to meeting a foreign guy for LTR and hope they can flip you to that, even when you are up front with your short term desires. I gave her 50 piso for jeeps and sent her on her way. Hope she changes her mind later and txts me for a booty call.

So, with those 2 strike outs I called one of my regulars (found on DIA) and had a great 2. 5 hour session with her in the afternoon. Paid her PHP 500 for the short time plus PHP 200 for taxi, and we parted company, both happy.

You sound disabled to me and I think you are blind you could not see the other bars, as I replied to you before there are more than 2 bars in cebu, if you visit for 4 days do a bar hop every night, do not waste time on malls and DIA or you will end up wanking in your hotel room.

You were the only one who mentioned the Negros-Cebu earthquake and the tsunami scare that happened Monday morning and was all the talk of the Philippines and had nerves on edge for awhile. Alot of the members engaged in flame wars have never visited Cebu. Just goes to show how few spend time in Cebu and are plugged into what's going on.

I left CC early Monday morning for white sand and was in a van on the road when the earthquake hit. I didn't feel a thing and narrowly missed the chaos. However I felt smaller after-shocks as late as Wednesday morning farther away from the epicenter.

You know what I think? I think that Cebu has nothing to offer. However even in the desert something can be found, this doesn't make the desert a paradise. People who do not have anything to say, just do not write reports. I think the majority of people (99%) going to Cebu do not find nothing but they silently skip over and none know nothing about them. See, how many names write on cebu thread? 10, 15 maybe?

drove by there the other night and they were open for business. you have to take much of what you read in philippine newspapers with a grain of salt.

heard the korean owners payed some fines and made the requested payments to the proper people to reopen. only a matter of time before they stop paying and another 'rescue operation' will be put in place. the grain of salt in this case was true, just the saving face move of calling it a 'rescue operation and **** investigation' was more for the local officials to save face with the public and hide behind some noble quest. the real motive of the operation was a shakedown and everyone knows that.

if indeed the korean owners refused to pay they would not be allowed to reopen. club jaguar was an example of a owner who refused to pay, the local officials enacted a law to close him down for good when he tried to reopen under another persons name.

FF, I agree with you at times but you constantly end up in these keyboard fights. Chill a bit, mate. You know as well as anyone that they primarily care abut the money and not the race. Faster money and more money is what counts. Why would it be relevant for you if someone prefers Asian-Americans? This itself is exactly the same form of stupidity you point at. These bar people that in your opinion are preferring you as a customer, categorize you as fast money and possibly smaller damage to the girls vagina, and this can be just as wrong or right as saying all Koreans are arrogant. And it will certainly not have any reflection, good or bad, on you as a person. It is normal that we categorize humans in groups based on culture / behavioral patterns and look, and then make certain generalizations based on this. It is, or at least was, a vital survival strategy for thousands of years during the course of evolution. Not saying anyone here hates Koreans, but a fellow IS allowed to hate Koreans IF he wants. His life, his choice, his karma. Where does all moral polices and opinion polices get their air from anyway? Is this the miss universe interview or a place where working girl mongers gather to pass time before next fuck for cash-trip? As some of you may have read my experience in Manila last month, well, at the end of it, things did turn around, but not as I was expecting it to be, so I had made a decision never to return, however, reaching back home and looking at my options, the nightmare of being alone and with my hands began again. There are really few or if any good options for an Indian guy to gets its load off once in a year or so within budget.

Price wise and cost of living wise with Visa extension, No place could come close to PH IMO. Thailand is an option but you know the way they treat Indians and our smell does not get taken lightly plus one beer. 5 guys, one girl thingy and its better not to venture that route any more.

With my budget, I could go for a week vacation in Europe if I could get a visa that is, even if I get a visa, I could stay no more than a month, south america is an option but long term visa is a problem. Plus language. Everywhere I turn around. PH stands out in all points. There is truly no place like PH for me. No matter how bad it gets from time to time.

Considering.

1. Cost of living. On par with India.

2. Visa extension. 2 yrs.

3. Language. English not a problem.

4. Pollution, corruption, infrastructure. Not like the west. But way better than India.

5. Getting laid. In abundance not a problem at all.

So from a guy from third world perspective. PH is a paradise that I can ill afford to miss.

In the end. I had to re-prioritize my options and see where I did go wrong and found it to be Manila and not PH in general. Its was too fast paced and chaotic scene for me.

So by April. I'm planning my trip to Cebu, I should have sticked with this option. Planning to stay for over a year or so. Any advice on Condo renting would be great as I found, folks are finding it hard to find a good condo in Cebu.

Somebody earlier mentioned they never had any success with SM mall pick ups and asked if anyone knew of a pick up spot there.

Its true that the action there appears to be less than Ayala and Robinsons, however, there is some pick up action there, tho its not great.

A somewhat central and popular spot for white foreign guys to eat is the French Baker resto. Often semi-pro girls will hang out on the rail in front of that place trying to get the eye of a foreign guy. The girls that I've seen there trying to pick me up haven't excited my interest, so I didn't bother.

SM is a central transport hub for the v-hire vans and jeeps coming in from the provinces, so you get alot of young but relatively conservative girls passing thru and shopping there. My experience is the somewhat higher end cebu city girls hang at Ayala for pick ups, and at Robinsons its a bit of a mix of higher end, thru just about street girl types.

As for the moralizing discussion I am just stunned. What happened to to concept of freedom of choice for legally adults? If I want to lay bricks, kick a ball or take it up my ass for a living, I assume it is my moral right to choose this? For sure there are illegal aspects to this story but then we are all illegal. Morally I think there is not much difference in supporting an industry that is an easy way out, attracting girls to open their fanny for a penny, or to just ask the girl directly. I usually don't bother with the Go Go bars in Cebu City as my experience as they just compare to the ones in Angeles or Thailand, but my girlfriend was back in her province and I got the itch to play.

I was talking about a squater area like juanquera where the bring the girls out for you to look at. I guess it's going to take a slum expert to figure this out.

I am not saying that the locals are here to brag rather than give info isn't to put someone down. It is just what ii see. I do not live in cebu and give lots of detailed info when I can. I think we are all little different which makes it very difficult to offer someone else a perfect girl. What does it for me may not do it for you. Also the girls tend to act different around different punters. Following those girls, I had one recommended in Makati from a board member. When I asked him what she expected for ST, he said 1500-2000. Seemed very reasonable. In chat with her in YM, she was fine with that. We hit it off and she got more than she asked for.

Recently an aussie that I met previously in AC (not sure if he's on ISG) was chatting me in YM, and said he had a girl in CDO. Enthusiastically he gave me her YM and said he had mentioned me to her. One recommended gal showed up with an ugly older friend, telling me I could f*ck the ugly one instead for the same amount of agreed money, while the cute one waited in the lobby. Sheesh.

As GL is hesitant to give out contact details (and me also) , I am hesitant to accept them, without asking questions (is she ok to cam?) , and then asking the girl the same questions (you're ok to swallow my cum?) in YM chat in advance of my visit. Doing this eliminates almost all of the girls now who are recommended to me. GL and I don't know each other, but if he were to recommend a cebuana who wants more than the mango ave bar girls, or one who is not as wild as those girls, it's not worth his time to recommend her, nor mine to chat the girl up. I think each time one of these oddities happens, its embarrassing for either myself or the recommending gent; hence my reticence (and GL's).
