I did a budget for living in Banifacio Global City in Manila for about $3500 a month. Rent was about $1000 a month. You can have a live-in cook-housekeeper for about $100 a month.

In Manila an apartment in an SM type building, one bedroom high rise with pool etc will run you 20 to 25, furnished with another 5 for utilities, TV Internet, water and electric. In a province you can get a two bedroom house by the sea for that.
If you cook a few meals 1000 per day is more than enough for food.
So to live and eat will be between 50 k and 60 k.
On top of that add in your mongering costs, any travel etc.
Anything over $US2,000 a month is more than enough.
As time goes on you can drop those costs significantly as you become accustomed to living a more Philippine life style. You can but food from street vendors and local markets and get your food cost to 100 or so a day. Provinces are much cheaper than the cities but girls are more work to get.
During the lockdown with just staying home all the time, I was paying 20 k rent and spending about another 10 k on food a month.
Now I am spending 25 k on rent (2 bedroom on the water) about 15 k on food including restaurants, 20 k on scuba diving and getting girls for 1000 for overnights.
Of course if you want to live higher, you can spend a lot more than that in a month but 100 k can be a nice life.

Quick question, to live like you do (my dream) where you do, how much would you say one needs per month? I've been thinking about an early retirement. I think I need to wait about 1 or 2 more years to reach about $3500 per month residual income (before SS, pension, and 401 k).

Do you usually check with the girls when they last tested or anything you look for before deciding to go raw?

Sometimes I bring girls back to my condo and sometimes I bring them to a S / T hotel, it depends on the girl (s). If they dress respectably then I will bring them back to my condo, otherwise I will take them to a S / T hotel. The management in my condo building are a bit snobby, there is no dress requirement for residents and we are allowed to wear shorts but they will not allow tradesmen into the building if they are wearing shorts!

Posts: 293This afternoon in Cebu City
I met up with two of my regulars and took them to a short time hotel near Robinsons' Galleria for an afternoon session, 1. 2 k for each girl plus PHP50 each for fare, plus a PHP250 Christmas gift for each girl, they were very pleased. I'm doing my best to help the local economy get going again with my good deeds, it suffered a lot of damage during the lockdown and needs all the help it can get. A civic award from Cebu City mayor Edgardo Labella would be a nice way for him to let me know that he appreciates my good deeds LOL.
Only 5 more days till Christmas, the traffic, as usual on Sundays, was light, though when I was finished I went to he main Ayala Mall for a late lunch and it was very busy with a lot of people, the busiest I have seen it since prior to the lockdown back in March.

Cebu is a nice place to live and wander as Mdemde says. Some of my friends will disagree but that's cool as we all have different flavour tastes.

Posts: 293Yesterday afternoon in Mandaue
I'm doing my best to help pump some pesos into the local economy by way of pumping some of the local girls, and by helping out the local short time hotels and the local taxi drivers.
She sent me a friend request on Thursday on facebook, and after a brief chat with her she told me she wanted to "meet foreigners I need money for Christmas". She asked for 5 k, I responded straight away with an offer of 1 k, and she immediately accepted with no attempt to try and get me to increase from the 1 k (see chat screenshot).
So, I met her yesterday afternoon near a short time hotel in Mandaue City and we headed for the hotel. She is 18 years old, slim, average looking and pleasant enough but had a lot of tats which I am not all that keen on, but I was there to pump her not admonish her for her tats so ignored her tats and quickly got down to business, and finished with a nice CIP, an enjoyable way to finish off the week.
