Niterunner,here are some tips hadsan beach resort ,small beach,pool ,diving,windsurfing,pacific resort,pool,beach,want to splurge 40 $ tambuli,3 pools,longest beachfront in mactan,tight security,lots of amenities,make sure you get the beach club since the villas are move expensive.look up the website,asiatravel.com,they have good deals since they buy rooms in bulk prepaid regards

Cheap would be somewhere around $25-$35 for that area... The property that you spoke of for $25 - how close to the beach is it? Is safety a concern? (The wife's biggest worry..) Also, any amenities? (breakfast, pool,hot tub,etc,etc).. Understand that you are doing this as favor - Greatly appreciate your help... May we buy you a beer to repay you for your kindness?

could you define cheap,to some people 25$ is cheap,to others 50$ is cheap,so i will give choices in both ranges,your wife being filipina will qualify you for local rate,just have her book.no problem most cebuanos speak tagalog.for 20-25$ iwould book the quantum beach resort,for 50$ i would go with tambuli beach resort or costabella,will post their details later regards

We are coming to Cebu and are looking for an inexpensive,(safe) hotel that is close to the beach.. Can you recommend?? We will be there during the week of the 19-26 October. My wife is Philipina and speaks Tagalog however does not speak Cebuano - will this be a problem? Also, can we get a local rate due to her being a local?? If possible, please respond to my PM.

Its great to have the board back. I miss Cebu a lot, and my only way of keeping the memories alive are to read about all of your adventures in paradise. (at least until I'm back there again)

Thanks for the info. Actually I am from Visayas - left Philippines ove 20 years ago. I have been coming for work for the last 2 years, I have been getting my fill from the bars along Quezon Ave. and Roxas blvd. while I'm Manila.

I will give lots to warning if I am able to make it to Cebu on my next trip. Buy you a beer and just chill.

first of all plantation bay is not girl friendly since it is family oriented resort,they charge a 25-35$ joiners fee,which is kind of excessive considering the girl should cost you 30-40$.they make her register and hassle her.more girl friendly at the high end would be shangrila,since the disco of the shangrila coco loco is pick up place,even the waitresses there are available.best value would be tambuli beach resort at mid range,plus it is girl friendly as long as you register as a double,same price as single.you can pick up at club uk in mactan,waterfront mactan lobby.as well as arrange through your taxi driver.

cebu has a large filipino chinese community,unfortunately the chinese girls or mixed blood chinese girls are more in demand for their fair skin by taiwanese,japs and koreans.best bet would be to go to places that cater to taiwanese,japs and koreans,the golden calesa ktv waterfront mactan,the ktv at the basement of waterfront lahug.these are frequented by people who prefer fair skin

You're a good man. I was just in Manila last month, did not manage to venture to other cities however, I did stay in Plantation Bay a couple of years ago. That was before I knew of this forum. I will be back in November, would you be able to hook me up with some deals and ladies then?

What's to do in Cebu in November? I will probobly fly in on a Friday AM and leave Monday AM - I would like to stay on a beach and easy access to the ladies.

actually i dont make money out of this,i sort of try to do my good deed for the day this way.if i can help a person from being scammed or help a person get a good deal on airfare or hotels,a simple thanks is fine.being in the travel industry gives me a lot of experiences some great,like the 3 AC bargirls who i brought to baguio and made me come 17 times over 3 days,some bad,got drugged by a thai ***** 8 years ago and almost died,basically if these tips i give help,thats great by me,i am here to help

serviced apartments are not that common,usually what most people do is negotiate a long staying guest rate with a hotel or pension house,they usually knock about 50-60% the daily rate,w8ill look into your question
