My two centavos. Lone Star is an ok place. Good bar to enjoy a meal and have a cold beer and chat with a few expats. The centrally located dancefloor with barstools on three sides is great for watching the girls on stage.

I do not barfine from LS. The girls seem sweet and flirty enough in the bar but once in the room they tend to forget alot of what had been previously agreed upon in the bar. Most are runners. Again YMMV. The mamasan is not very friendly and will side with the girls on every matter. Yeah, I visted Lone Star and was impressed. Good music, good atmosphere, nice layout and most importantly some nice girls. Not so sure about the stuffed animals on the walls though. It seemed very popular with ex-pats which is always a sign of good value.

Day 5, Wednesday: Cebu.

After a lie-in and leisurely breakfast I walked to ROBINSONS to meet Gemma, the girl I'd met in Planet X the night before. Robinsons is located on Osmena roundabout and it was 1. 25pm when I arrived. Regarding Koreans, I don't mean to stereotype and later in my diary I compliment a Korean guy who was a lot of fun and had all of the girls in a small bar in Angeles in hysterics with his antics. But he was an exception and I think a lot of their behavior is disrespectful to the girls. I actually don't mind them lining up the girls because this is how they seem to do things and, as you say, the bars seem to encourage it. They look more impressive with bright neon signs but two years ago only Pussycats impressed me. The others were over-priced and despite being aimed at big-spending Koreans, they had the same quality of girls as the cheaper bars over the road. This is the main concentration of gogo bars in Cebu although a short walk away are Lone Star and Red Lips, both of which I planned to visit.

The time was 8. 30pm when I walked down the stairs and entered VIKING. It's a large basement filled with red sofas facing a stage. Only one girl was dancing with half a dozen sat on couches at the side. I sat on a stool at the bar and bought myself a San Miguel light for 50 pesos. Only one was dancing, a fair-haired girl with large, firm (but almost certainly fake) tits. 20 girls were crowded on to the couches in front of the stage, some of whom were very attractive. Planet X is a mixed bag. It has a great layout with more girls than other Mango gogo bars and some pretty ones too. But it's more expensive and there is too much pressure to buy lady-drinks.

Go to the chemist in the alley between Feuente Circle and llorente Street the ally in Feuente circle has a KFC at the entrance to it, It is a generic pharmacy little to no queues and I have had good service (tablets) from there every time.
