    More cold water

If the situation is the same when you arrive, then it doesn't matter if you are in Cebu or Davao. You are going to be utilizing ST hotels. If you find a ST place that you like more than the others (they can be extremely dingy, dirty), you might want to find out the monthly rate, if they have one. Whether they have one or not, make them an offer that is fairly small for one month, see if they bite at that (times are hard, they might). Same goes for pensionne houses (some are half full or less). As an example, at one ST place, I used their standard 12-hour rate (they don't have an overnight or 24 hour rate, nor a weekly or monthly rate) to multiply times 2 (24 hours), then by 30 (monthly). It was ridiculously high considering the quality of the place, and area. I took that monthly rate and divided it by 3. I asked the front desk attendant if it was possible to rent one month at that rate. They have a locked, secured cashier room, and he checked with that attendant. They told me to come inquire at a later date (guessing they needed to inquire to the owner). I returned later and was approved. I didn't end up securing that deal (yet), I am still considering it. You get a bed, a nawty mirror on the wall, aircon, no TV, and a crappy cold-water shower that sprays the entire CR with water, for about $200 USD / month. You can waltz in / out with whoever you want. Small potatoes for you as your employer is paying for your digs? I made similar offers at other ST / pensionne places and was turned down.

I would tell you to approach a nicer hotel / condo and offer more money, but those places are not in a position (at any rental price) to allow you to bring in differing guests without vetting them (as stated, swab test, NBI clearance, or such) and then limiting you to just one of those persons and asking that you have that girl live there (not just visit). Get used to the terms: Short Time Hotel; and Pensionne Houses. Also get used to paying for them (in addition to your rent). Regardless of when vaxxed foreigners are allowed back in, government rules (and private residence rules, which can be more strict than government rules; and are decided by the residence owners voting) decide hotel and residence policies, and I don't see those changing until the government says a herd-type immunity is in place and lifts its restrictions. Sadly, that could be years from now.

Such places that allow you to change girls like you chance socks are available, but they tend to be homes you rent in the twigs, in the province, with few neighbors nearby.

As for the girl-friendly situation, it sounds like it hasn't changed from last year's posts then? I'm definitely at a place that'll check ID. Does this practice extend to houses in gated communities as well? My situation makes it to where that might be the quickest solution.

Many places, while still on AirBnB or Agoda, have stopped taking actual bookings from new residents or are actively discouraging foreign residents.

See WestCoast's posts about accommodation difficulties. Forget about having a procession of girls rotating through the doors.

Having said that, many girls online in Davao looking for bfs and happy to meet now.

    Good luck.

I confess, that was me. The girl had spent 90 minutes in jeeps / trykes to get to the Sogo near me, and I was not in the mood to give up (had exactly one thing on my plate for the day).

Another time I went into the Sogo (Buendia) about 10 am, to see what they had available. They have a rather large lobby. They have placed socially-distanced benches in the lobby, just big enough for two people, in rows. Easily 20 couples were snaked around the lobby (s, there are two lobby areas), all pinoy, including to two fully uniformed military (man and woman) personnel. Obviously everyone is there at that time of day for a quickie. Turned and walked over to the nearby VC and quickly got a Standard room, no waiting, p999 for 12 hours. Have been using ST places quite a bit since the last ECQ; have not seen another foreigner such as myself inside one yet.

We walked to two other Pensionnes in the area, no vacancy. We taxi'd to a Reddoorz, same. Taxi'd to another RD and got a room. I almost dropped the entire thing. Stuck it out and got two pops. So much for the old days of walking into Eurotel and getting a room for 3 hours for p450....
Hahah. I've had a girl jonesing around town looking for a wifi connection after having no cell service for a week but I've never seen a grown man trapsing around town looking for a fuckpad. 😳.

    Enjoy. G.

Here in Cebu Bikini bars just starting to open and the street freelancers are back to business long ago. How about in Davao are the hot legs (or other bikini bars) open?

And are there still freelancers around San Pedro & Central bank just like before covid?

Most condo's have a similar rule: Registered guests must be vetted: Swab test or medical certificate (Dr checkup + chest Xray), valid ID (good luck with a majority of your rotating guests having one), and possibly a police or NBI clearance (all given to the owner / host and building Admin at least 24 hours prior to entry). Guests must also live in the unit (not come / go). Most airbnb and hotels have gone to one guest only, so you might have to register only your main squeeze. Then, get used to using ST hotels. VC turned away one of my girls one day (age 31) when she had a kind of Brgy eye dee, but no valid eye dee (had taken the same gal there half a dozen times in the prior two months; she's a great f*ck).

Regarding Airbb / Agoda and such. Many hotels and residences continue to both falsely advertise amenities (nice pics of the gym and pool, which are closed during Covid). This includes: 1) Them not renting it to anyone at this time (yet not removing it from Airbb / Agoda); or 2) The dates showing availability are not correct (it shows available, but when you book it, a few days / weeks later you get a message from the owner saying "Sorry we are not renting this unit these past 7 months, will refund your money" or such). Alternately it might show as unavailable on certain dates when it really is available.

    State of Mongering?

What's Davao like in 2021, for both mongering and dating in general? I feel like the situation and length of time I'll be there is ideal for non-pros, but that's a steady buildup and I'm going to be impatient after the newly double-in-length quarantine. Anything open that's a sure shot, or do I just need to be extra-observant on Tinder? Additionally, will my building allow guests in at the moment? While I'm not at Avida, posts from last year seem to suggest that's a possibility. Don't want to discuss trip details just yet bc I don't know how many or few ban exemptions have been / will be granted to the area.
