Now in Davao. I can't say much for the clubs because I haven't bothered. Initially, my DIA contacts didn't pan out very well - probably because of the holidays.

Street action: as has been reported before you can find it here and there. Victoria Mall parking lot after hours had quite a few -- at least one that I was tempted to take, San Pedro street -- but this tends to be low quality, etc.,

Luckily, I had something really nice in my little black book from a previous visit. She's late 20s and has given birth, but really does her share of the work when it comes to copulation. Also charming, humorous and damn nice to look at. I bought her a bikini and it was well worth the 800 pesos. I stayed at Apo view Hotel where on a clear day like today you can see Mt. Apo, the highest mountain in the philippines, as well as the hideous backside of the downtown Gaisano mall. Best reason for staying here is the pool.

Galleria; I like the location and I like the big balcony on the top floor.

Yea, just as X-Man points out they are right outside the door in any direction from Apo.

But as X also points put you should expect to find 10 ower weight and over the hill skanks and 10 tatooed teens with craters in their front teeth, for very 2 sweet hearts. Or rather for THE two sweet harts you will find. Davao does not mean abundance when it comes to P4P in the good old way. But in other ways. ;-)

Was back in Davao recently and again visited Farfallas, lovely meal (paella, tomato salad), nice ambience and good to meetmy old mate Makhu as well in the city. Been a long time since we met but he is his busy self with a number of cute girls (well I met at least 4).

Also went to Spirale which does excellent pizza IMHO, osso buco and salads.

And I walked around the malls to confirm that there are plenty of beautiful ladies here...I liked the Xmas special gift/prize girls in their Santa mini skirts in Gaisano Mall, worth spending the cash to get a chance of a prize......and a mobile number

On the back of Plaza Roman on Cabagio you have a bunch also before 6 PM. The live there and can accommodate your need for massage just about any time. Ask the guard. In Hotel Galleria the front desk can arrange erotic massage with a woman they have the number to. I never tried but made an inquiry once.

I advice you to go to any massage place around Gaisano South. Buy a regular massage in the open rooms with many beds and start to joke around about erotic massage. You will notice that one or two of the girl laughs less nervous and look at you a bit longer than the rest. Ask her if she do in call massage to the hotel and get her number.

Do the "now time for the front side"-routine if you get a room with just one bed.
These girls massage on provision and makes only 40-60 peso some days, so if you text them about making 1000 peso many will come in minutes. Quite often the massage is very good and strong as well.

Around Central Bank you have girls from 2-3 hours after the sun sets. STD central many says, and yes many are pretty skanky, but if I am edgy and can not be bothered with one of the regulars I once in a while get a hand job or more from one of the little teens. I do it rarely and the outcome is always the same. They do anything to get off the hook and I get relieved but disappointed. Pinoy rate is 200-500 peso. You can as a white man bargain hard down to 500-700 pesos and 400-500 after 2-3 am, but I never do. Always pay 1000 flat rate and 100-200 tip if she is slightly friendly. Such small amounts makes no difference in the big equation. If they do - stay at home! Mamasan takes up to 60-70% direct and then rent, electricity, water, etc for the shit holes they stay in (I visited one a couple of years ago). I collect their numbers and sometimes call them in during the day for a "massage". 500-1000 direct in their pocket is a lot. You just need to play the "do not tell your mamasan"-game so that she feel safe to come visit you without the mamasan scolding her for not using the mamasan "protection service". The mamasan makes enough anyway and I never cared much for brokers in any form.

Maybe goes without saying but be nice and behave, even if the girl are poor and in bad need of money. A shitty attitude just fuck things up for everyone.

Over all not a very exciting scene for P4P or massage, but a pro can be found any time of the day.

As you turn left when coming off San Pedro in the traffic direction you see Ladystar. This fine cockroach (not cock roast) farm is is followed be numerous of more or less sleazy establishments. Some are just barber shops that stay open late and others are full featured Red Horse pushers.

Yes Farfalla is indeed worth at least one visit every week. Good food, good wine and beauties to rest ones eyes upon. Soon enough the staff will have been trained to not fill the glasses and lift their feet when waking. What a challenge.

The fact that the kitchen stays open until midnight helps. I often like to start my dinner at 9.30-10 PM and by then most other decent places closed.

One word of advice: stay away from Pico Bello in Gaisano Suth. Just about everything was wrong. The Styrofoam ball on my pizza did not help the over all impression of this dump. Never again.

We went tonight, as we do every couple of weeks or so, to Claude's (Cafe de Ville) and, as typically happens whenever we eat there, I reminded myself why I'm willing to spend Php6,000 on dinner for two....to feel coddled, civilized, and at peace. I had the escargot with shirred eggs to start, and she had fettuccine with small clams; I followed with duck a l'orange, and she had some sort of prawns with sauteed potatoes. She had pana cotta, and I had creme brule for desert, followed by coffee and Calvados (courtesy of Claude) with the whole thing washed down by a lovely Sancerre Rouge. The dinner took more than two hours; we dined, rather than ate; the place was full and Claude was turning away lots of people for lack of tables, and it was worth every peso.

Between Cafe de Ville and Farfalla (opened recently by Claude's daughter), there's ample opportunity now in Davao to really dine if that's your thing. I've eaten several times now at Farfalla, most recently Friday for lunch, and, though different than Claude's, it's got a similar very European ambiance. The daughter has learned well from her father and has created a lovely place.

Last week, I had the pleasure of eating at Farfalla with Barba, among others, and he too thoroughly enjoyed the place. Two weeks prior to that, we had dined together at Claude's.

These restaurants are, admittedly, not going to suit everyone's tastes. But for those who crave real French and/or Italian cooking, and who do not mind paying for the nice table cloths, the fresh flowers, the candles, and the intimate atmosphere, these are the places to go.
