To Everyone: I've been out of Davao for a couple of weeks, and tonight, my first night back, went to Maurice's place for a couple of drinks and then passed by the convenience store. I've been in Davao a week now. It's my 15th place in this country to have been in the last 8 months. There are far more free-lancers here than in any of the other places I've been. We entered the narrow store front, climbed some fairly dirty stairs, and entered a large room, at the top of the stairs, with a stage in front. We noticed immediately that, tough we were greeted warmly, we were the only expats to be seen in a room that was otherwise half-filled with locals. The stage dancers were all naked, save for the shoes, and there werre about 15 GROs, ranging in looks from 6-8.5. All the women are, of course available, and all of the dancing is nude.
