I'm coming Philly first time. I lived in Thailand for 3 years and now want to look for new place. I will stay in makati, as far as I know the best place to stay for newbies. Airbnb prices about 1500 usd up for condos. It is expensive for Thailand standards but I think this is normal for makati.

Makati is very expensive, but I doubt is that expensive 1,500 USD!

I believe you can find a nice condo in Makati (with swimming pool) for about 1,000 USD. I had stayed in Knightsbridge Residences, google it, is a nice condo and close to the busy area and Burgos, you can sneak in a threesome but it has to be during the day, at night I doubt they will let 2 women come in, since there are guards there and those condos (at 1,000 USD a month) are studio condos so only 2 people allow to sleep. But you can try to bring them during the day and they might forget you are with 2 girls.

That's why I don't stay in Makati if I'm staying for long like a month, I rather stay in Pasay close to mall of Asia, it is safe like Makati and the condos are nice like in Makati with pool and gym, the condo I stayed alot is call: Sea Residences, it will cost you about $700 USD per month, remember always book for a month so you can get a discount, if you book for 3 weeks and a half or even 4 weeks you won't get the monthly discount, it got to be 30 days to be consider 1 month and get the monthly discount.

About the safe, you shouldn't be bringing girls you don't trust, specially prostitutes or golddigers, is so easy to meet a good girl online, even the times I meet someone who is wild I still trust them not to be a thief and steal in front of me, of course I still have to talk them first and see how she is in person. But I guess I understand why you don't trust someone from a bar or a prostitute, if there is someone who can be a thief they are the ones because of their lifestyle.

SA is probably a mistake in Makati. Girls showing body on webcam are professionals. I would be hitting up pinalove and date in Asia. There is no shortage of girls that will stay with you.

I would suggest you book somewhere like Dusit or St Giles for a few days. The look around yourself and get a walking rate. Airbnb also has nice rates for long term.

To me, it makes sense to have your main number on esim. In future when you are travelling to more mongering destinations you can easily plug in your local number.

It depends. If you are expecting calls from your home, with the Samsung S21 I use, you can have one eSim and 1 physical sim active at the same time. From when I was there in March, most of the tourist sims will be a physical sim, so you may be stuck with one. My phone has two physical sim slots, plus the esim option. So as I stated, the max I could go is dual sim, one physical and one esim.

Yeah it really is a shame sometimes but attitude determines altitude is a true statement. The first night I went to the "V" place (can't remember full name) I pulled one with my partner. His lady was outgoing and fun, her friend was just "meh. " Went back to hotel did the deed and then she wanted to go. Her friend however was not ready to leave and wanted to stay the night, but she made her leave with her. Went back to same place the next night and pulled a different one and even saw the one I had the night before. Didn't feel like putting up with her lackluster performance again and you could see the look on her face of she thought she was going to get fined out that night but I went with someone else. Glad I didn't have to work with her after that look she gave.

Not sure if I were actually in the area, I met one set of women at a place called Coco-Rock, and the others at the bar right next to them called "V" or something like that. All I remember is we told the Grab to take us to the "G-Spot" club but it was closed and we walked down that street to the places I mentioned. I wrote about it on Mar 22 I believe and the spot is named Vane Restaurant. Look for my previous post and follow that thread and you will see the area I was in.

2) Paid both the barfine + girl's tip *before* leaving the bar (prepay all)?

If DrB paid the barfine and no tip, that's entirely possible. The gents had just started coming back into the country, and the bars were few and re-opening. They might have been in a desperation mode to get ANY money coming from customers. The current 5 girls - 1 guy ratio in the bars that I am hearing privately would suggest that might continue to be happening.

A new day, new rules, and each bar setting its own policy. Even more-so, each girl sets her own policy. Regardless her hot-ness, if she goes a week (or 3) without a barfine (lack of gents), she might be willing to accept no tip. Scaring the occasional gent away from the bar with a p5000 tip request means no barfines this week. Sorry guys should have remembered my creative writing course from long ago and been more specific. I paid the bar fine (about P3,000 and then probably another P6,000 for the lady) so a total of P9,000 was spent. To some that may sound like a lot, but in the long run, much cheaper than buying them those high priced drinks. I did meet one a friend of a friend who had pulled his lady out of LA Cafe, and she introduced me to someone (I was lazy and paid the price) and for what I payed I still came out ahead with a better deal just paying bar fine. Somehow with the freelancer I was expected to by her daughter's birthday cake the next day and I told her she's not my kid.

Don't forget that you can prepay everything at any bar. It's not recommended but possible. This is a common ploy that bars and girls try on newbies so that 1/ there is no concern of no payment from an unknown punter and possibly 2/ there is no consequence if the girl wants to do an early runner.

It's hardly surprising that DrBombay's girl (s) did not refuse when offered full payment upfront. Why would they? It's a all win / no loss position for them.

More specifially, Ghost is referring to something that seems to happen only in Burgos gogo bars:

1) There is a barfine, payable directly to the bar as part of your tab / bill, as you depart (3. 5 - 4 k).

2) There is a separate tip (which Ghost refers to as the cost of sex), which most Burgos gogo girls will insist be agreed upon before departing the bar with you.

This tip amount, her services in the room, and her departure time are all up for negotiation before leaving the bar. As most bars give the girl p1000 from the barfine, she will usually not agree to leave the bar with you until she is sure that she can get several thousand more as a pre-arranged tip in the morning. Most girls will negotiate her tip in the bar in the range of 4000 - 6000 (and most are willing to negotiate it down). Unless something goes badly wrong, you are expected to pony-up in the morning your previously agreed-upon tip amount...

I have always been confused by this. In some places, they ask you to pay the girl separately, and other places the bar fine is all inclusive. I've run into the same issue in AC. Is this club specific?
