Good morning/afternoon/evening gents

Does anyone have any suggestions for good places to play pool in Makati? I used to go to the Hard Rock but they changed it so that there was only one pool table (in a different bar), and last time I went even that table was closed during the daytime.

Other than that I can think of Sid's and Filling Station (both near or in Burgos).

Any better ideas?

There is a place called Heckle and Jeckle on Jupitr and Polaris that has 2 pool tables and there is another place further up polaris on the right hand side that has 2 tables also, it has a biker decor but I can't think of the name right now.

There is Heckle and Jeckle , they have 2 pool tables , they are in the building on corner of Jupiter and Polaris and there is another place if you go further up Polaris at right hand side of street that also has 2 pool tables inside , it's like a biker bar inside. I just can't think of the name now.

Agree with Dan. Go to a bar and meet for a drink. If I BF on Burgos (and in the grand scheme of things, we are talking small money versus many places so I live with it for convenience an dease. And good lookers) then I usually go to another bar for a drink somewhere away from the street anyway. Malate can be fun and you can bar hop. You get to know the girl a bit better, do the banter thing and the drinks are much cheaper.

If she works in Fridays then she will be looking to get out of having to go there for an evening. And yep, she will just ring in sick so don; t fall for anyway "I need to pay money to the bar" line. Personally I like Fridays and the girls are great so you are probably onto a winner. I wonder which one it is? !

I really should explore the 'Cam' route. But am too lazy!

Early may I'll be in makati for a few days. I have the intention of meeting one of my yahoo contacts while there.

She currently works as a BG in Fridays (Burgos St), and she tells me she's going to take the night off to stay with me while I'm there. What is the going price currently for a LT girl, given the fact that she'll probably have to pay some fine to the bar for not showing up that night.

I would heartily agree with Amavida. Never ever meet the family.

From feedback from friends who did. It always ended up with a lot of pressure from family to get money out of you and secondly to pressure you into a long term financial as well as personal commitment.

The other issue is you have no idea what family reaction is when they see you. An irate father or brother is someone you don't want especially if you want to head back or out of the Philippines!

It completely depends on the situation. A girl you've met in a bar, you don't want to go there.

But for a girl that you've met on FH or DIA or the like, it can get you in. Your willingness to be friendly with her family can be an in for your intentions. The girls really appreciate it (maybe less true in Manila than in the provinces) when you take the time to meet.

I would arrange to meet her for lunch first to compare the real girl to the online girl. If you're getting some bad vibes then it will be easy to bail out. If you want to proceed with her then a good average would be p1500. The final number may go up or down based on how well she met your expectations. I wouldnt give her anything for the bar because she will just call in sick and keep your money.

Am not regular write reports here but I like to tell you about a few things from ladies side as we also suffer here a problems in world. A some of you would know and met me also some of my friends, I live in Manila. I read the reports about bar fines and it quiet so I agree. I think same, customers not as many now and many not pay as much as before maybe they budget is I'm not know but means we also not have cash as much for family which is hard for us.

Jobs are not easy here! Many people not work, many people look for work but not much, many go away but now they return here as no jobs where they went to, so remember when your a girl, that she family and try be kind, we not very much either but less than you ok?

I agree bar fines to Makati is too high and the girl is not doing good business. For me I think better you to do as reports here before, get girls number and she visits you after work, at least she gets the money all money not part or you decide pay he small amount as you pay fine already.

So think of girl please we need cash for family and it though more than before I think.

Hope you likes this report as my first real one I ashamed of my English but I wanted to say it.
