After another glorious trip to Dubai was welcomed back home to PI with wind that would turn over a Manila hot meat cart and rain that would flood a blocked sewer Manila Street. Spent the next few days in the crib. I have heard of being snowed in but rained in truly ridiculous.

Rain stops. I start. Really didn’t know where to go. So many options EDSA, LA, the various KTVs one thing you can’t call Manila is boring. Had not been to Burgos since 08 so I thought what the hell. Now keep in mind Burgos is not for the faint of wallet in most bars a round of drinks will set you back about 3000 Pesos and a barfine will set you back about 3900-something basically another 4000 Pesos. I am not a fan of getting fleeced but sometime I just feel like living a little.

Greenbelt:

Stopped off at the Greenbelt and few things caught my young but yet world-weary eyes. A group of Filipino males watching last year’s NBA championship with great enthusiasm… WTF! , a gay guy who stood in the bathroom mirror for about 5mins fixing his eccentric hair and all the European looking guys walking around with the stunning Filipinas, tall, slim, white skin, no doubt, educated nothing like what you usually see grace the pages of ISG or my own world for that matter. The mongering world felt very trivial at that moment.

Burgos:

Ivory Bar:

This bar had a large line up. Fairly attractive ladies. What is a young man to do when he is surrounded by a bunch of not bad looking young women grabbing your dick rubbing your stomach/chest saying? “I want to give you blow job can you take us all back to your hotel and fuck us your young you can handle it.” Enough to drive you insane. Three years now still have not got use to it. There was one girl in this bar while not a looker she had a look in her eye and her attitude in the bar I could tell she was ready to do anything I wanted. 25 from Cebu. They also have VIP room upstairs which cost you the same as take out like 4000 Pesos. I bought about 5 of them a round of drinks laughed and played with them for a while then bailed.

Unnamed Bar: Can't Remember The Name.

Can’t remember the name of this one but it had a fair line up. One girl in there was stunningly attractive from Leyte (where the first piece of Pinay pussy I ever had was from) I called her over bought her a Tequila and asked her would she like to make her way back to my hotel for a nightcap. She informed me she was on the rag and it was hard to tell if she was bullshitting. After that didn’t see any more talent. Hit the door.

Flamingo:

I had heard this was the most happening bar on Burgos. Large stage. Lot of girls. Most are cute. Right away a vet came up to me. (Vet- 25 Plus and up been in the game a while) she was cool but she had that typical Filipina look. Brown skin, big eyes, etc. I am sure she also would have given me a wild ass night but I was looking for some eye candy. I then spotted it. So I chatted with her for a minute and to my surprise she was down to join me at the Dusit. Paid the tab and hit the door. I watched the Mamasan come over and talked to me telling me how the girl she was kind of shy etc …trying to see if I was an axe-murderer. Told me to take it easy on her as she was young….OK :D

The Dusit:

Nice hotel. Nosy Staff. Damn near breaking their neck to get a glimpse of my hired help for night as I made my way through the lobby. (All you mongers out there have no fear about the walk of shame this is the Philippines. Seen a Filipino monger in the lobby sending home the hired help early morning LOL.)

The Room:

Nice girl bubbly personality. Cool. Talked and talked. After going on and on about how she judges mongers to go home with look, smell etc… She asked me something that was kind of striking. Hello all! Wanting to take my filipina GF out for a good night out. We are staying in Makati and I wondered what legit nightlife might be recommended. So far I have thought of Havana which is at least passably legit. Any other options nearby?

You can try Strumms on Jupiter, Hard Rock in Glorietta (though there are some working girls at the bar, at the tables it is fine.), or the bars in the Shang or Penn.

If you like adventure go to Malate. Around Adriadico there are lots and lots of legit bars, discos and live bands. Start with a drink in Havana on Adriadico (no working girls like in Greenbeld) and then just wander checking them all out.

You can also go further down to Ermita, try out Hobit House (great folk music and the little people are so cool) or Cowboy Grill. She will like all these and no pressure from working girls. Sometimes there is also a jazz singer at the bar in the Hyatt (as well as a casino).

I was having a hard time trying to figure out which places are lower. I assume places like Flamingos and Rogues are still lower. What are their bar fines now?

I recall a few places used to have Happy Hour bar fines like Wow Wow Wow where I think is was $1,500 during Happy Hour. Which bars currently have happy hour bar fines and how much are they?

If the place is quiet you can negotiate on bar fines - or I managed to on a couple of occasions in January. I got about 1/3 off. I pulled a face and first time said it was not as much when I was here last year. Second time, just said, too expensive. Ask the girls - they will know if you can get a discount.

But then again, if it is quiet, Blink (Post below) is right. Just give her you cp number and get her to meet you. If you can be arsed to wait until 4am.

Ok if you like to have happy hour prices you check out Rogues. I think that lame bar called tusk gives 50% on local drinks mon, wed and friday. Not sure about their barfines.
I recommend you get the cp number from the gurl and ask her to meet up laters. If they not into that, barfine would be another option, for sure, but a gurl who doesnt want to meet you up later aint much intersted in you anyway. So paying her 3900p barfine plus plus plus would be a waste of money in my eyes.
Makati is a waste of money anyway, unless you live there , like me :D and even that its annoying, good for barhop after work, or before work hahahahaha...:D but def. not the place to go when Im on holiday

Wild West no longer has lower barfines than the rest, it's under new ownership with higher barfines

Actually, I've found that Wild West's bar fines are highly negotiable. You just need to have a little game and work with the Mamasan by reminding her what the barfines are next door. It also helps to buy her a drink. Good luck.

I will tell you, however, that on other boards I found evidence of tips even greater than P 3000 - they were speaking of P 3500 or so. I do know that barfines at Bandido, Flamingo and Wild West are lower, and in fact it has been ages since I went in any of the other bars. That said, if you say that P 3000 is a litle on the high side would you recommend P 2500 or so ? I would be shocked if it were much lower.

Who cares? We are only talking about a difference of about $20. Just don't take out one of the girls at Ringside and try and tip her only 1k pesos. Is the P 3000 quote for Makati reliable? Wouldn't the girls aim for more? When barfines were 3000 in Burgos the girls were happy with the 3000 + 3000, but now? Are you still looking at 3000 or it's more than that? (What I am fearing.)
