Side question for anyone. It seems to me that the Philippines has a lots of very nice places, and lots of places that have loads of girls that are basically pretty grim (Manila, Angeles). Any ideas for a nice place you'd actually like to be with an easy choice of company?

For the past 7 years this has been my quest. Trying to find a Phuket place somewhere else in SEA. (and I want surf beaches as well).

Conclusion so far. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

Not into BYO as like variety so my MO is half and half. Vietnam beaches are good but issues with girls (Vung Tau close to HCM, the Nang etc), Karon and Kata in Phuket are ok but Moscow central esp high season, haven't fully explored Bali but one time I did go didn't like beach and whole vibe.

Moalboal et al great beaches but BYO. Mactan Isl / Cebu is a good half and half fairly close. Maybe take a girl for a few days. Going to Sabang, maybe for last time. Done research on Coron, Leyte and Surigao too but seems very BYO or at mercy of locals. Apparently other beaches near Batangas are ok. Trouble is I don't want to spend a day travelling to get to these places to find their crap, be stuck for a few days and then travel back. Waste. Subic - well I wouldn't swim there.

Was told by waitress there is a nice beach close to Hat Yai but yet to research it.

As said any help would be appreciated. Been to Hawaii where beaches are sensational but prices high.

As G says have found with dating sites a week is a long time in the Phil and on one of my trips to Cebu the 7 I had lined up only 1 was a keeper. In many places its the here and now that matters - saying I'll meet you in a week may as well be a year.

In fact, "preparing" is not the adequate word. I am doing contacts, lot of contacts, mainly to chat and see what happens.

And there are good surprises, not often with top beauties, but mostly I can see a very good chemistry appearing even when not really searched actively.

I just let things go with the flow.

One will be a well known girl since almost 4 years I guess, already met last travel in Makati, and I hope she could come with me for 1 week, no surprise with her, nothing asked from her, only gifts on my wish.

I have taken DIA girls to beach and sightseeing destinations in Philippines. To take a girls there you need to ascertain certain things.

1. Even though it is rented pussy are you compatible and have a good time together in and out of bed.

2. Does she hold your hand outside and behave like your GF.

3. Is she dressed for the part. What it means is is she comfortable wearing beachware with flesh showing. Many conservative ones are not.

4. Is the compensation agreed.

There is nothing worse than a badly compatible girl with you for a few days at a exotic locale. Firstly do not promise anything on meeting. Stay together couple of days and see how it goes. If everything is good and agreed then plan and enjoy.

One of the problems with the Philippines is that you can have girls or nice destination, not both. There is no Phuket in PI.

The closest would be Sabang, but it's getting over run, or trying your luck online at picking up a local girl at Bohol, Surigao or Moalboal.

Many rely on BYO from Cebu to some of the beautiful beaches and island nearby in the Visayas.

Against this nuclear onslaught, the poor Aussie monger had no ability to fightback. Armed with only his meagre pension check, he had no other options. I've been told that there are many grossly overweight, bald headed Aussie mongers, dejectedly wandering the streets of Tondo looking for that 100 peso root, replete in their Bintang wife beater, board shorts and flip flops. Soon we will see the rather comical sight of morbidly obese Aussies riding trikes up and down the side streets of Tondo just to earn two hundred pesos a day. That's two roots.

Since my hotel was right opposite the Mall where this place is located, and I'm a bit of lazy arse, I thought I'd check it out.

Lots of ladies there, and its a fairly relaxed atmosphere, with just a load of tables outside. There are no lady drinks, so if you want to buy a drink for someone its not so much. They had a four beer in a bucket deal.

Disadvantage is that its not so easy to casually talk to a few different girls, you can probably go and sit down next to anyone, but its a bit awkward if you decide you prefer the look of the girl on the next table after all. Or at least I would have done.

I ended up sitting with a couple of girls, they were trying to persuade me to go for a duo experience, but I wasn't really interested in that, so took one of them to the hotel for 3000. It was in the "OK" category, not bad, but not very memorable either.

I'd probably try the place again if I was in Manila.

The Korean domination of the beaver wars in the Philippines had its genesis in the late 1990's when the powerful Chaebols like Hyundai, Samsung, LG, SK and Lotte decided it was time to spread their tentacles abroad. What they were looking for was a place with dirt cheap labor, lax corporate governance and compliant, malleable, local authorities who could be easily bribed. The Philippines met their very strict selection criteria.

Soon, thousands of randy, well-paid Korean salary men descended upon Manila, Pampanga and Cebu to supervise their respective Chaebols' operations. Word quickly spread that the Philippines was a fabulous mongering destination as the Pinays had naturally low moral standards, were desperate for money and provided services their Korean wives back home would never entertain. It was not considered a hardship posting to be sent to the Philippines.

The lazy Pinays were only too eager to service the Korean salary men on account of their 3-inch dicks and their 0-100 time of 3 seconds. Now not sure how this equates with others but I am a professional earning an above average salary in Aust and that 7000-10,000 peso equal one days pay. Also to give some perspective, in my home town, 1 hour with an FL er is $300 AD and the sessions are not always GFi'sh..

An airfare from SYD to MNL will be about $700, get a bus to / from AC and get girls overnight for <$50.

Whatever or however is your local WG in Aust, your Aussie peso will go further in Ph.

If you really want value for money, head to a larger provincial town in Leyte.

Also being Australian I once drove down Burgos street but have exclusively stuck to dating sites and have quite a number of 18 - 23 yo paying 3 - 4 k for 2 shots in 3 hrs or 4 -5 k overnight. Sometimes spend some money on a meal, sometimes provide 200 taxi money. I don't drink so bars bore me.
