Here's an update on P Burgos street, hopefully you find it useful, if anyone can add to, or correct / improve on anything I say then please do so.

It appears that Dimples is where Tickles used to be, and I've seen vids of this place Farfasha is now where Dimples once was located. As I remember it from 2019, there was at the time about 20 bars on or around P. Burgos, and now, it seems there about half that many. Plus, the best bars at that time, Kojak, XOXO, Bottoms and Plan be no longer exist.

I like Cebu better for meeting girls from the sites because the distances are smaller. Being in Manila is tiresome when most matches on Tinder live in Valenzuela or someplace. Even if they're willing to come to Makati it becomes a huge ordeal.

Another great advantage is that the ferry to Bohol etc is close to central Cebu. If you connect with someone, its relatively easy to head to the beach. I've had some great times in Cebu.

However the downside is that after coming from a long distance, you might not be amenable to sticking around NAIA to catch a flight to Cebu. I've passed on Cebu many times because after landing in Manila I wanted to get to work right away.

There also used to be only one functioning bridge from Mactan to Cebu city with hours of delays for traveling to or from the airport. However, I think they completed a second bridge and a third might be in the works.

And there are many more bridges now. Traffic still can be jammed up but the new bridges make it somewhat easier.

Last time I was in cebu was 2018 but the situation was nothing like you are describing.

-the mango area had no freelancers except for a few shady looking ones near 7/11, tons of lady boys and a couple of male pimps ask you if you want a girl and won't leave you alone.

-clubs around that area like holic are geared towards filipinos like they have tables where you are expected to sit down with your friends, no dancing or mingling.

-oqtagon club was full of koreans, and it was also bring your own.

-the go go bars near mango only 2 worth going to I think they are called sisters and viking, cute girls but I wouldn't travel all the way to cebu just for two bars.

-2 bars next to the go go bars called bamboozers and howling dogs that had the highest potential. They are like expat hangout bars. Girls who are interested in white guys go there so all girls there including the waitresses are on the hunt. Still not a place I would travel all the way to cebu for and you miss more than you will hit there.

-I didn't have much success online dating. First girl didn't speak much we just ate and she left. Second girl was so fat I told her I'm not interested I just walked away. At this point I just gave up and invited a girl from manila.

Cebu is a beautiful city and has a lot of potential if you live there or have months to hunt. If you are a tourist coming for a few days I believe it's a waste of time. I would personally stick to manila for online dating, angeles for p4 p and subic for the mix of both. Subic has a lot of beautiful nice girls that are willing to date a foreigner and if you strike out you still have tons of bars to pick up a girl.

I was in a club in Mango Square afew months ago (the most popular there, I forgot the name, 20% were foreigners), and I saw some freelancer there, some with a pimp, some local girls with friends and if you have game you can hook-up with them, I talked to one of them when my date went to the CR, they are very friendly and their friends are cool to leave you with them, I seen lots of foreigners (like late 20's and 30's like me. If you are active online trust me you can hook-up with alot of girls in Cebu City, Mandaue, Lapu Lapu, Talisay, Consolacion (the last two abit far but you can get afew girls if you have time), also Toledo is a good city to go and meet girls, nice beaches there.

About go go bars and girly bars I never been to one in Cebu, but I think there is more likelihood to find a semi-pro there than in Angeles City, I heard AC lots of hardcored prostitutes there.

I have a friend on Facebook who works in a bar in Cebu City (we only chat afew times), she is always posting about the bar she works, I think the owner is Canadian if I'm not mistaken, the bar is call: The Philly Cebu.

Search it on Facebook, they have girls in uniform, not sure if is a girly bar or just a sport bar, but looks like a lot of fun.

By the way remember, the more trips you make, the more experience you have (dating good girls online). The more easier it gets to hook-up with many girls.

I considered putting both my Globe and my Smart, but ultimately decided one was enough. No picture, no social media, nothing else.

It worked great, especially when accompanied by a wink and smile. I found cashiers and girls in groups very receptive to the card approach. Also, how many times while riding my bicycle around Manila did I pass a cutie and then double back to say "Excuse me ma'am, but I saw you when I was riding by and you're incredibly maganda. If you ever want to get lunch, let me know. " Then before she could refuse I'd hand her the card and be on my way. My batting average was high using that technique, though sometimes it would be a few weeks or even months and by the time I got their text I wouldn't remember who they were.

Favorite story using the card technique: sitting on a jeep from Divisoria to Baclaran with sweetie-of-the-moment when a super sweetie gets on and sits down across from us. Don't go to Angeles City, I never been there but, I wouldn't recommend it because most girls there are hardcore pros / bargirls. Go to Cebu better, alot of bars with semipros, I personally never been to one but I seen it from outside, many girly bars in Mango and lots of freelancers in Mango and Ayala mall. Honestly, I don't know about prices, because I don't like to pay, only time I payed before was once in LA Cafe like 8 years ago (I think I payed 1 K and she spend the night, but that was like 8 years ago, now probably is more).

They will not ask you for money, but is up to you if you want to give them. I only give them for their taxi 300 php to 500 php, but is up to them if they want to take a taxi or not. Thank you for your answer. I'm planning to stay in makati. Is it easy to get around from here to bgc, la cafe or Manila bay? I use grab but worrying about traffic jam.

It depends if is rush hour, BGC is the closest to Burgos so taxi / grab should be fine, also to LA Cafe (Malate) taxi is fine, but to Mall of Asia and Manila Bay I would take the MRT (subway / train) during rush hour, both MRT and LRT are safe to travel, but I hate the line-ups sometimes, but during rush hour is faster than taxi / grab.

One advice if you take a taxi, watch the route the driver is taking, sometimes they will tell you to take a short cut during rush hour and in reality it takes longer or the same time, they just want to drive longer and charge you more. I got into afew arguments when they try to do that, even thought I told them not to do it they still do it or they do it without my permission, I always ended up getting out of the taxi and paying half of what we agree or whatever the taximeter shows, I just can not handle drivers like that.

By the way, there is an expressway, I think is call Skyway, that you can pay a fee and you can arrive faster during rush hour, I forgot how much it is, but is not much. You will have to give the taxi driver extra for that fee.

Bars in Burgos open? I stay in makati because want to visit Burgos also.

I only go to nightclubs (Dance clubs like they call them there) or bars with live bands. In Makati I like Royal Club (girls are free entrance), some bars in BGC but I forgot the names, in Malate I like Cowboy Grill and Exklusiv, but this year I found out Exklusiv is close. In Mall of Asia I like going to Padi's Point Seaside, and a couple of times to the one in EDSA.
