Since you're staying in Regency Grand, just go to Robinson's Place Mall. Numerous well known Western restaurants, but sometimes requires some hunting to find them all.

Unfortunately not too many 8's will be wandering the streets in Makati looking for a stray monger. For some who pay thousands to get to the country they like to haggle over a few hundred pesos ED. Always amazes me why this happens but then they are cheap as 1000 pesos is $20 and I can't see why that is a huge problem for any monger whose ticket cost upward of $600++ and the hotel is more than that per night usually (unless stay in a dump).

But some love to haggle then proudly tell us how they ripped off a trike driver for 50 pesos.

Western food at fair prices means MacDonalds, Burger King, Yellow Taxi Pizza etc. Jollibee is okay for fried chicken and rice. Cafe Cubana and Filling Station on Burgos offer Western food at US prices. I go to the middle eastern restaurant at the mid point of Burgos Street. It's opposite the Quick E Mart. Not too pricey and there isn't much for the chef to fuck up.

There is no such thing as decent food in the Philippines. You just have to adjust your expectations. If you don't believe me, visit a FB page called Slate My Plate Expats. Philippines. Its hilarious, but also sort of sad.

What are the going rates, I know "it depends" - but what are they anyway. To pick a girl at a local bar (whatever these bars / joints are). I am reading anywhere 10 -12 K to 2 K. 10 K converted to US $ is still US $200 - lot of money for Manila (I think). That is the kind of rate in Vegas.

You don't want to hear this but it depends. I hunt on Tinder, with occasional forays into PL and SA. If a girl wants a long term relationship then you can get them for free or only 1000 or 2000 for taxi fare. They take a little game to get but really not that much. You sometimes need to take them for supper first but it can be as simple as a Jolliebee. I have a few regulars who will stay 24 hours and just get taxi fare, 2 k slipped into their hip pockets. They are actually enjoyable to be with as they are not just viewing me as a walking ATM.

Semi pro's you can get for less than 5000. They also take a little game to get (very little), if they are straight forward about sex for money I ask their rate, if more than 5 k I say thanks not no thanks, they almost always come down to half their initial ask.

Yes 7-10 k is the correct amount in a Burgos Street bar. But that's for all night. I doubt a Vegas hooker would spend all night with you for $200 LOL.

As Westie has said, some mugs will spend upto 40k and not barfine in a Burgos bar. If you buy a couple of bottles of tequila and lady drinks for the whole harem, you will quickly rack up a bill that size.

If you want to pay less, then head for LA Cafe where 2 k can get you short time. Street meat will be between 500-1500 pesos depending on how desperate the lady is.

LOL. Nah I was just fucking around with you man. I had never heard of it. I searched on google and read some of the yelp reviews. One guy said this place is for lb lovers. Another girl said they charge American prices for the food and drinks. All the reviews were saying it is a good place to people watch, as you said.

IMHO the talent level is extremely low at Cafe Cubana, Greenbelt. I have found better looking, YOUNGER girls street walking on Burgos. YMMV of course and all it takes is one attractive girl to change the situation. Good luck.

Mr. E, you think all the Cafe Cubana girls? are Lb's? I never thought it was 100% although I agree that there are a large number of rather obvious LB's there. In the past at least some of the prostitutes were girl girls. In any case and based on my last visit in May, the pickings were very very poor. Therefor, I would not recommend the high end Greenbelt malls at night except as a place to have dinner and possibly get something to drink and hear some music over at Sticky Fingers bar in Greenbelt 2.

At Havana Cafe in Greenbelt no ladyboys are allowed neither at the indoor nor the outdoor seating. LB only hang around outside of the Havana Cafe. Almost all the girls at Havana Cafe are working girls and the average age range goes from 25-45. And there are always 1-2 good looking girls there. On weekends also some semi pros can be found. Unfortunately Spicy Fingers is already closed since 2 years and is still dearly missed as one of my favourite hunting grounds.
