Never had any sort of problems with any girl anywhere in the world about age issues or money issues. Yes, I have had runners with one excuse or another.

I've had my share of runners too. Interestingly all barfines. Never online hookups. Being fully prepaid ala AC also skews the bell curve considerably.

I too have never had any age or extortion related issues. I had my wallet emptied once in Jakarta after I fell asleep, my ipad stolen in MNL, and a chick threaten to call the cops when I refused to pay her for undelivered services. The first two were my fault anyway for not following the most basic of security precautions and the third ended when she realised what my work was and my contacts were many levels higher than hers.

Not too bad for several decades of fun in some pretty interesting places 😉.

She even pretended to sleep after the deed. Suddenly got up after an hour and went to the rest room. Came back with a Oscar winning performance feigning stomach ache. I let her go with some extra money for medicine. I got so worried next evening and went back to the same bar. She was there totally healthy.

Backtrack little. Before I barfined this girl who could not speak good English there was a girl who I wanted to barfine who spoke English. She said she on the period and could not go with or she did not like me. This girl asked the girl I barfined if she wanted to go with me.

So the next night I told the English speaking girl about what happened. She said the girl came back to the bar after leaving me and she was not sick at all.

No need to go so far to find these type of girls.

I had one exactly as you described with the same stomach problems. This was suppose to be LT and after one bang, she fell asleep and woke up 15 min later with extreme stomach pains. Totally convincing even with sweat from her face!!

Let her go to get better as she was useless to me for the rest of the night.

Went back to same bar next evening and another girl came to me and told me the girl I BF said I was unfair to her so she left me to return bar to be taken out on another BF.

This is why I always stay in a nice hotel with security. Yes, I have taken street girls. Security and front desk always check I. The and ask few questions in Tagalog. I heard eleven after all this people got into trouble. But generally those are solved right there with hotel negotiations.

Although these are rare incidents, they do happen and just don't know who it can happen to. Like my post said, my friend did check ID and also no way in hell she was underage or even looked liked a young girl. And also, he was living in a rental and not hotel.

If someone wanted to set up a monger then its sometimes difficult to avoid it. Yes, getting a girl from a bar lowers the chances but its still not zero. Remembering how some underage girls were still caught in the past working at bars with somewhat professional or altered IDs that said they were over 18. Get caught with one of those in your room and its still up shits creek for the monger having taken all the precautions. Just another thing us mongers have to deal with that no normal person has to. It goes with our lifestyle.

If you are worried, get girls in the bars vs streetwalkers as the girls will be over 18, or just don't go with girls who look really young. A lot of hotels have a policy of checking girls ID anyway and they would see if its fake, and although this seems like a pain it might just save your ass. The hotels don't want trouble in their hotel basically.

While there are a million stories, it's exceedingly rare for the truly blameless to be involved in an elaborate sting. There is always a backstory. Those that are abusive, idiots or fall out with business partners do however have a high propensity for arrests and drug busts.

The solution is simple: don't do anything stupid and fly below the radar.

There's no more bases in PI, but the overall shit still happens (but maybe not as frequently now).

Although the following didn't happen in Manila, the story is still relevant. I know a punter friend of mine was set up in Angeles. This happen about 4 years ago.

Girl approached him on the street and ask him if he wants company. He asked her for her age and she said 21. He was always the cautious type so even though she looked over 21, he wanted to check her ID. Official ID gave proof of age at 21.

Back to rented apt they went. He didn't even have time to take off his shirt while she sat on the chair taking off her shoes when police came knocking on the door.

Came in and said he was under arrest for having underage girl with him in the apt. He said he didn't do anything but that didn't matter as having an underage girl with a lone man without the girls guardian present was already a serious charge. He said she had ID, but cops took one quick look and said its fake.

Cops said he will be taken to police station and booked. He will spend time in jail until he gets a date with a judge to set bail,(which could take months or years), he will rot in jail until then. He will also have to pay for a lawyer..

I think everyone is getting this all wrong.

It is not a "bribe".

I call it either an insurance or a fee.

Insurance because we pay it as a preventive measure to prevent negative outcome.

Or a fee because its a price of doing business. No different than paying our own govt fees and fines to get somethings done or staying out of trouble.

Of course, that only means I hate paying insurance or fees / fines myself.

Just my take on this as bribes are illegal and Those paying a bribe also means they have committed a crime and I know we don't commit crimes as we are all honest mongers.

Had a walk down Burgos today as it wasn't too far out of way I was going.

Kojax has been refurbished by the looks of it and called "LIPS". It looked as though they've spent a decent amount on it so hopefully reopening of area in full isn't too far away. Realise this could be a long way off, but people investing in area, even as normal bars, can only be a good thing. Someone was giving food away from back of an SUV today, 99% of people on the street were there, the rest were asleep.

Tickles has also been refurbished, again seems as though some money has been spent. This is purely conjecture on my part, but there is no name above the door, just Pride flags so potentially this is new home for Mixed Nuts. Mixed Nuts location is now what appears to be a Shisha Bar.

Tequileria has been open quite a while now, it appears to have taken some of lettable space from Shampoo. The door for Shampoo was open, looked as though some works have taken place inside.

This could be promising news. Bar owners probably have connections as to when travel will open so they are getting ready. Doubtful they would invest if tourist were years down the road.
