I used them my first trip here with great results. With an escort service you get better reliability than with a FL. If she is a no show the agency will (hopefully) do something about it, send another girl or get her to come. If you get ripped off you have some comeback that you don't have with a FL.

Any girl you get you simply don't know how she will perform to your tastes the first meeting. It is a risk all ways even with reviews, What I may like you may not. I have generally found athat an agency that has been around for a long time, like Manila Escorts, will have better performers, but not always.

Like a lot of things in life, you will pay for convenience and reliability. These sorts of things can happen but they will be rare. I am talking lottery winning rare. It is easy to avoid falling into these raps and if one actually happened to you then it would be very costly to escape the trap, so a little caution is only prudent. I'll buy lottery tickets because someone has to win and I will be cautious about scams because someone may actually fall for them.

Remember that there are only about 300 foreigners in jail here, both pre and post trial. The majority of them are other Asian countries, China, India and Korea being the big three. There are only about 100 foreigners from the Western democracies in jail here. (US, Australia, UK etc).

Also in 2017 there were about 1500 deportations. The majority of these were from the Chinese gambling scam operating in Dumaguette. In 2016 there were only 400 deportations which is about the average. The most common deportation reasons are overstaying and or working illegally. I suspect that there have been some self deportations or informal deportations where a guy has paid a "fee" and just left with no formal paperwork but again I have no way of knowing the actual numbers but have never seen a first hand report about this on any forum. (Mongering or just living here forum).

I would think with all the regular posters here plus all the lurkers, one time visitors etc over the years that at some point someone would have first hand experience with an attempt at a scam occurring and would have posted about it if there was a non trivial possibility of it actually happening.

Only time I have come close is a Tinder girl, claiming to be 19 was only 16 according to her Facebook page. When I called her on it she admitted to being 17 and said it didn't matter, if I wanted she could being another 17 year old over for a 3 some. I declined, reported her and deleted all conversations and blocked her.

Was this a set up for a scam or just a horny kid? I don't know and was not going to take a risk to find out.

Yes of course that's the whole point of it, to separate you from as much money as possible while keeping the "operation" at the lowest level possible.

As soon as the big guys (ie NBI) get involved, such as with the bar raids, the price tags are quite considerable, often in the millions.
