It was certainly a real eye opener for me. One distinguished looking Indian gentlemen came on his own and was taken to his favourite standing table. He ordered two bottles of vodka. Absolut and Grey Goose, with soda water. Coke was his chaser. He proceeded to do his emails and just drink on his own in the middle of the club. I'm thinking, what the fuck is going on here? I guess that's how he unwinds after doing deals all day. Later, I saw him with six girls, drinking with him at his standing table. I doubt he would have been in any position to fuck after drinking so much vodka. No doubt he would have tipped those girls nicely, so it was easy money for them.

Despite what some old timers might think, I don't think anyone in Pattaya or AC is going home with blue balls. The best I have seen like this ED (and I have seen plenty) was in Cebu. An elderly white monger with a very open LB at breakfast, holding hand and being very lovey with the LB.

This restaurant gets a lot of mentions in Makati field reports. It is located on Burgos Street and is the most well known eatery there. I went there with my chick for dinner and the food is absolutely superb. My chick ordered pork chop suey and I got the Cuban chicken with banana chips, beans and rice. Her serving was so large that she packed half of it and took it to her dormitory around the corner to help out her room mates.

After ordering two mains, extra rice (not for me), garlic bread, dessert, several rounds of beers, cocktails and coffee, the bill was around 2,000 pesos. In my country that would be more than double that.

My chick said that they no longer allow unescorted ladies in. I think the restaurant was getting a really bad reputation as the soliciting was out of control. All ladies must be accompanied by men. Too bad if a couple of lezzos want to have a romantic dinner at Cafe Cubana. They might make an exception for female NGO dogooders who are staying at the hotel on top.

Day 2 Makati.

Things went more to plan on Day 2. In the morning I did some office work in the hotel's business centre. They were playing Christmas carols there. It's only September, but seems like they get into the joyous spirit early here.

At 1. 00 pm I had a pre-booked massage from a Wechat girl. I've used her before on a previous trip. This is a totally legit service (strange but true) and Fei the masseuse does a great job. I think Monday nights, ie yesterday, is Indian night because the last couple of times I've been in town after a weekend elsewhere, I was the only white guy in most of the Burgos Bars. The rest were of Indian appearance. As you say, many were splashing the cash around and were welcomed inside because of it.

Given your post about splitting a table at HiSo, I guess you know that there you also get the armada treatment and over the top service included. The cost of tables get a lot of bad press but they sure do provide the rock star feeling if that's what you are chasing.
