You really want to know? HA HA. 1st, you have to understand that I really hate seat belts. They are confining and I consider them an infringement on my rights to drive the way I want to. It's downright friggin' un-American! So on the same week I bought my new SUV, I went into the back seat and cut off one of the metallic seat belt buckles with a sharp razor knife. I keep that buckle part permanently inserted into the driver's side seat belt receptacle and there is no dinging. Occasionally someone gets into the back of my SUV and asks where the seat belt buckle is and I laugh.

P.S. I understand there is now a product that you can buy on the internet called "The End-Ding Seat Belt Alarm Stop" for 8 bucks. I am not sure it works for all cars, but Google it and see.

The ISG, despite all the clutter and nonsense, offers up a lot of solid info if one cares to take the time and do some research. I remember sifting back through a year or more of reports in the AC, Makati, and Cebu forums before my 1st PI trip back in 2011. The relevant information I found combined with my experience everywhere else made that 1st trip a breeze. This is why I still continue to post trip reports here.

That said let me add that, THERE ARE NO RULES if you know what your doing.
