NEVER tell anyone that it is your first time in the Philippines! You may as well wear a tee-shirt saying "Take my money. Please!" If you do your due diligence here on ISG, you will (for all intents and purposes) be a veteran.

The ISG, despite all the clutter and nonsense, offers up a lot of solid info if one cares to take the time and do some research. I remember sifting back through a year or more of reports in the AC, Makati, and Cebu forums before my 1st PI trip back in 2011.
