8) A new place called Marquee, next to Neon Nights disco / gogo. Not sure if Marquee is open yet.

9) Fyre, next to Neon. It started off in June-ish of last year as an odd gogo (like Lion's Pride), with a pool table and 2-5 fuglies who played pool. Not sure if the fuglies were GRO. Later it was re-constructed to make it a nice sports resto with big-screen TV's, and a smoky-glass facia. Now the facia is phantasmagorical.

Marquee is indeed open, went in a couple of weeks ago. Quality of girls was high, but not my sort of place as girls weren't allowed to be naughty in the bar. A lot of girls moved here from Nautica as they get better looked after by management apparently. However, some are already back at Nautica and some more are moving to Nautica's new location (where Ringside used to be) next week, if it opens on schedule.

Fyre opened this week, went in and it wasn't great. Took a long time to get served, serving girls were all wearing a full-length fireman's coat, not the sexiest attire I've seen. Quality of girls is better than when it was gogo previously, but not by much. Will give it another chance on a normal weekend.

Over Easter weekend 50% of bars were completely shut, those that were open had reduced staffing levels. Went in Coco Rock for first time as a girl with ample charms on the door persuaded us to give it a try. Showed me a great time inside too. Much better night than I expected it to be with the closure of Malls etc on Thursday and Friday, I thought it possible all bars were going to be closed.

4) Movida bar. Pre-covid was an upscale, eclectic live band resto / bar. The bands changed nightly: Country, reggae, pop, blues, rock, metal, you name it. Pretty good stuff. Closed during Covid and re-opened in late 2021 temporarily. The city closed it at the time for repeatedly staying open after the midnight curfew and serving alcohol during alcohol bans. Open again, but a bouncer said they lost their entertainment bonafides, so no more live band.

5) Lion's Pride. Formerly WowWow bar. Re-opened last year as a gogo, and closed after a few months. Later I saw the door open and a lot of reconstruction. Some kind of moving assembly on the ceiling being installed. I assumed a western-type dry-cleaner. The guard at the time said a restaurant would come soon. Recently the door was open again and all of the old reconstruction had been removed, and its being remodeled *again*. This guard says it will be a bar.

6) The old Horizon and Jools.

7) The updated Horizon / Jools. Apparently will be a "Nightlife Multi-Concept Complex". Whatever that means.

Not pictured is Alibi bar, next to Ringside. The bouncer was outside. I walked in about 10:15 pm. Not a single girl in the joint. Music was playing. No customers. The waitress asked me to sit. I asked where the girls were? "Later. 11 pm maybe. Just you wait". Um, no thanks.

And the Burgos / Durban-Kalayann area.

I see a lot of reviews from bars, but missing experience from Burgos p directly. I assume, that taking girl from street directly, is more cheap, and I believe you can still find options there, no? Why you avoid street freelancers? Because of safety, scams? Should I avoid street freelancers?

I didn't try to take a streetwalker, but there were certainly many available on a Thursday night. In my book they ranged from 3's to 6's with the odd chance for a 7. I am sure they were much cheaper than the bars, I didn't ask prices but I'd guess 2500 would get it done (less for the ugly ones). Unsafe? Probably not if you take them back to a decent hotel where the security will protect you. But there certainly were lots of transvestites, some were even good looking from 6 feet. So be careful if you have beer goggles on. Most looked of legal age to me, the youngest girls seemed to be the beggars carrying an infant in their arms. Something tells me stay away from them period (if you want to help, donate to a reputable org that knows the deal).

Sure. No disrespect intended. The whole courtyard from Starbucks thru Havana Cafe to the Cafe / bakery on the opposite corner has been redeveloped. The courtyard is still physically there but the majority of the tenants have changed. You may that find the odd girl but not like before.

You are in a Catholic country? Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, most everything will be closed. Convenience stores and gas stations might be open. Various places will re-open on either Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. Gogo bars will probably be open.

Literally anywhere outside a city proper? Or way the fuck out in the countryside in Mindanao?

Somehow getting the feeling it would be difficult to convince a girl from 3-4 hours outside of Manila to jump on a bus, though I am very interested in the concept.

Generally in Manila I offered 18-19 why / o PL girls 4 k. Most accepted without hesitation. A few wanted more; they were discarded from the selection process. I tried with 3 k but ended up paying a bit more as transport fee etc.

I think I posted before that I regard anything outside MNL or CEB as " the province" more based upon attitudes than geographic location.

However, in the above context, I meant anyone away from the redlight or bar precincts. Pretty girls are everywhere, not only in 5000 p GoGos. Go and have a look at any dry market sometime and you will see absolute goddesses walking around there to buy a pound of carrots and three onions. Sure, 4 hours across Manila is a big ask due to the horrendous travelling conditions and the level of competition and availability means that she may show and the guy doesn't, having found someone else in the meantime. Provincial Cebu to Cebu City, SanCarlos to Cebu, Gensan to Davao, Nowheresville in Negros to Dumaguete are all achievable.

3 to 4 k LT is fair in the big smoke. A newbie might be asked that for ST or a bargain hunter might pay less. As usual, YMMV.

I've always been a big proponent for guys spending their money and enjoying it however they wish. However, newbies should be aware of just how far up the cost curve this is. 10 to 20 k all in for what is essentially one ST is many multiples of what would be charged in most other markets. As reference points, my highest serious quotes ever were 10 k per hour for an IG model and 15 k overnight for a stunner recently returned from Dubai.

Generally speaking, one only has to look at the SA thread to see just how much some guys put their Sugar Babies on a pedestal and pay outrageous amounts to hook up with them. I've heard the term Financial Domination mentioned a few times and it seems to be apt.

Again, I'll emphasize that this is not directed at HK. He paid his money and obviously had a good time and that's great. However, others should know it's a niche market.
