Unfortunately all the Eustacia Inn type places are closed. Eustacia will move to Pasay city near the airport, in the same part of the city where the two famous fish bowl places are. Roman Suites and San Pedro have been closed for over 6 months. No idea where they have moved.

In Makati, there are no on-site places left except for some massage places near Burgos st but your mileage really varies in those places as regards what is on offer, looks and price.

I stop going to Burgos about 3 yr ago going down hill I used to go there for the few sauna now they are closed, I didn't even go to Manila on this trip no reason to I just fly direct from Hong kong or Macau to Clark DMIA airport the airfare and the girl is cheaper.

I got to my hotel at about midnight, dropped everything off and put the valuables in the safe. In 15 minutes I was in my way to Cafe Havana where I was approached by a cute little thing (5'1") who quoted 5, 000. 00 for LT. My response is I'll be back and went to sit at a table outside, in a few minutes she was by my side. After a short negotiation we settle for 2, 000. 00 + 200. 00 for transportation. All in all I thought it was a very good experience, I had better BJs but she acted like we knew each other for a while and I did not feel that she was full of shit. After the activities she went to sleep, but before she said to wake her up at any time. Actually she started a second session while it was still dark. I finished kind of quick and she was disappointed, said he wanted more as she did not come. We had another one close to noon, by then she was feeling more comfortable and started to DFK. After we finished, this time I made sure she enjoyed herself, she left.

My recommendation is not to engage the ones hanging out by the coffee shops or sitting around by the benches, most are lady boys. At night is hard to tell the difference.

The following is my recent trip to Makati.

For this trip I had a lot of DIA ladies lined up. For this trip I had a lot of DIA ladies lined up. In fact I had more than I could possible see. I also wanted to frequent the Café Havana too while I was there. Hey, I was able to make it on the plane this time with my new passport.

St. Giles Hotel.

I can still recommend this hotel because it is still fairly clean albeit it is starting to rot around the edges. I did notice a lot of disrepair and. Not sure letting it rot is a Pilipino thing or not to let things disinigrate. However the price is only 2800 per night with no breakfast. I went down and inquired about breakfast and they wanted 500 peso so I just walked down to the Howzat bar for breakfast. Very girl friendly place even when I brought back two from the Havana. I had to call the maintenance guy to my room so he could hammer the small tacks sticking out of the carpet. The wireless is goofy there, I cannot be logged in on iphone and computer at the same time. But if I pay 300 pesos per day they would give me another log in I'd so I can be. I think the pool area and the exercise room are very nice up on the 35th floor, the pool water was a bit cloudy. If you stay there ask for a corner room in advance. It's a 1 minute walk to Burgos if yer in to that type of place. There are plenty of places to eat close by and a supermarket down the street too.

I spent a lot of money and time there. Mostly in the morning for breakfast. I think the food is pretty good there. Mostly I ate the 3 egg omelet and hot tea for breakfast and at that time the cigarette smoke is not bad either. Plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sports also. Many white folks from either the UK, Australia, or the US. Seemingly no street girls here unless they are with someone. I like the place; it's a good hang out.

Handle Bar.

Well the theécor and atmosphere seem just fine, but just don't order the hamburger there because it tasted like shit. The local Wendy's hamburger was way better than this place. I had high expectations for my hamburger with the BBQ grill they had there, but was very disappointed. The bar is sort of a Biker's theamed bar with a lot of expats there too. Another thing I did not like was all the peddlers trying to sell you something while eating or watching TV outside.

I am mucho skeptical about the faithfulness of my male American compatriots or fellow Europeans but I certainly do not believe that "men in Europe and the US average seven or more sexual partners in a year". Maybe certain basketball players a lot more of course, but not enough to raise the average so high.

BTW it is not the canonization of a NEW Filipino saint but the canonization of the FIRST Filipino saint, amazing that a country as officially hyper-catholic as the Phils has had only one saint so far! Japan has dozens, Korea a whole bunch as well with far fewer catholics.

As to the Filipino saint in question he was indeed martyred but in Japan as per wikipedia, San Lorenzo Ruiz is his name.
