Braved burgos St a couple of times this week. Going down that road is like running a gauntlet trying to avoid the massage ladies, walkers and people trying to sell fake pills and rolex.

First night spent at lips. Rolled up about 10 pm. Went straight upstairs. Few customers with girls but the rest were just floating around.

Settled in with a San Miguel and just scoped the place out. There were about 30 girls on. Ranging from you coyote uglies to I would rate about 8/9. But there were only about 5 of that quality.

Well put. Having been both a 2-week warrior and long-term resident of the Phils, I have had success with a variety of types of women. All have been easy. Locals (including taxi drivers, a police officer, and a bantaybayan officer) sometimes trip over themselves to introduce to me their cousins and titas, often just regular gals, for dating. Obviously that doesn't work for the 2-week warrior.

The dating apps and we chat are definitely worth persevering with. You can get 10+ matches per app before you run out of likes for the day and just sift them out 4 or 5 at a time. Tantan and tinder seem to work best. Did a walk thru Burgos St during the day. Daytime does not do the massage girls there any favors. Old and weathered would be a generous way to describe them. Will give the night scene a go soon.

And yes, being a novice I've already been scammed with this whole g cash rubbish. Left a down payment for one thru that system only to be blocked / ignored. Lesson learnt on that.

It seems to be mainly part timers who needs a bit of quick cash there and then and disappear once they get it. A lot claim to be doing it for tuition etc. Not sure how much truth is in it.

Maison. Brand new, did not go in, but it has replaced the bar on corner of Burgos up from Lips, the one that was refurbished into bar and eatery. One of Mamasans from Lips said that most of girls from Tickles are in there, so will be worth a visit I think.

Nice report Muttley81, yes Maison is rebranded from Bourbon, don't know if the owners have changed or not, they have renovated the inside to be more like what it was before the pandemic, I visited there a few times in the past but cannot remember the name of the establishment back then. Now they have a raised dance area with mirrors and feels a lot more like it used to, and they have removed the patriation separating the back and front area, it's very similar to Nautica in what they are trying to do, just bigger, worth a visit I would say.
