    cafe havana, greenbelt

    Hi,

I was at Cafe Havana last night and plenty of girls obviously even on a Monday night. I approached one, we had some drinks and a nice dancing together and she bluntly told me that she is working there and is happy to go with me (implying "for a fee"). I did not pick her up in the end. I talked to one punter at the bar and he seemed to be of the opinion that most chicks there are not "working girls" and can be picked up free of charge.

What do you guys say on this ? (I am new to Cafe Havana).

    Thanks,

    Hotels

Hi to French touch. Understand the question. I'm lucky in that I have a car in Makati so its just as easy to drive to Sogo. Only takes 20 mins usually. And sometimes I've even had a blow in that 20 mins. I digress.

Sogo is fine. Theres an Anito thats on EDSA heading down, (right on the border of Makati /Pasay as theres an ordinance about no motels in Makati) but they usually make you wait for the rooms to be cleaned.

Within Burgos I never found anywhere that wasnt a noisy or expensive shithole. Above Filling Station is crap. Above Tickles bar is crap.

Theres a new place above Sports Bar but last visit I asked and was told it was P2000 overnight and P1500 short time. For that money I prefer to drive to Sogo and take the Exec room with the jacuzzi. Altho the jacuzzi is missing the high pressure shower hose. I found that when I use that on girls they just come and come and come. I digress again.

Anyways the short answer is never found anywhere in or around Burgos that works. And yes I go often and maybe will be there in one or two weekends time. Hmmm who will my victims be this time. (Halloween type ho ho ho laugh)

FYI, Update on explosion...It was caused by a badly installed generator diesel tank, exposed wires and sewage pipes (methane) routed wrong.

I was in the mall last Saturday and I was going to my favorite cell phone booth (second hand cells) on the 4th floor and found the entrance boarded up. It was right where the explosion happened. I am worried as I had a lot of friends that worked in those booths.:(

Well, thanks. And we do love it. From the frequency of the reports, seems you are there quite often. And yes, wifey always asks stuff, and sometimes, yes, one is tempted.

BTW, I was wondering what you guys think is the best / closest Smotel near Burgos. I have been in a few places, don't remember all of them. Sogo Pasay is a bit far, but the rooms are great. I always take the best ones. If I am with Freebies, I take 6 hours, even if I know that I will leave before, the 200 PHP difference is change, and I have noticed that they are happy to think you will spend long time. Think it improves the whole performance.

Sogo in Mandaluyong along Edsa is cool also, but very busy at times, and rooms less nice, or maybe not lucky.

Anything closer to Burgos and still not a dump?

    Cheers

This is a bit off topic, but still regards Makati.

Has anyone here in the recent past ever been to a bar called Asian Treasure by the EDSA and Guadalupe?

I've got a girl from there sending me sms and yahoo chatter and was curious if it would be worth my time to divert my usual mall wandering to stop by there and see what the fuss is all about with her.

I have no idea if they are bargirls or what the deal is. She claims they are a simple karaoke bar with no fining. Now I know that area and know this is unlikely. Just like to avoid dealing with fining. I'm a fan of the freebie obviously.

    Manila continued

    Hi all,

Sunday evening, did not do much. Monday evening went a bit more interesting.

After dinner the two guys I was with and myself decided it was time to get moving to more carnal pleasures. We headed to Burgos, where we visited Montana first. Had been there before, and as last time, was not disappointed. As soon as we three entered, we were surrounded by approximately 10 girls, with the usual hi how are you whats ur name, except for one of the guys, who obviously entertains a quite deep and regular relationship with this and other establishments in the area. After something like 10 minutes of groping and discussing earthly matters of highest interests, my two counterparts seemed pretty set with some charming specimens of Burgos bargirl. LDs were bought, and hands were roaming freely. For myself, I was quite undecided, time pressure started to apply, until I saw from a far a tall and slender thing, quite white in skin, with a nice smile and very thin and slender body. I waved, and when she arrived our head punter confirmed that that was a sensible choice. She goes by the name of Yuri, seems quite young, which is confirmed by traces of quite recent acne - not a turn off though - speaks reasonable english and has a stong taste for tequila. After we introduced ourselves and started to get more physical, we moved to a booth. A few girls accompanied us, the famous Burgos Curtain Holders. Once we got more private, i started to undress her, well what was staying of it, and DATYed her. She seemed surprised, agreably, and enjoyed. After a few minutes of contorsions, I decided I did not come there to get a sore neck, and she went down to business. I was fingering and roaming around her, and she gave me a quite good BBBJ, followed by CIM. She does have a nice body, one of those which remind me of more adolescent times, when the top of the sexual experience was putting a finger in the c... of the volley ball team leader. Damage here was in the vicinity of 3 000 including 1 000 tip for Y.

Well everything must have an end, and for some it comes earlier than others. After we finished, we split, one of the guys left and we stayed only 2. I said, ok , you know what, we are going to go around, find one place to have a beer, just a beer, and after we'll be set. We went up and down burgos, entered a few joints, dont remeber which ones, except for rogues i think, at the bottom of the street, where there was a very strong smell that made us run out lie as if we entered a conference of the archbishop of Manila by mistake. We ended up in Ivory. There, the two of us did not have that quiet beer and talk, and instead went pretty much in the same ritual. I went with Milan, who is petite (more than Yuri by 10 cm or so); very well proportioned, has a piercing in her tongue, and goes around with blonde-dyed hair that suits her well. She worked for a long time on me, gave me a very good and sensual BBBJ, until one member of the BCH patrol, JOY, took over, of course after me signing the mandatory second 5LDs sheet, and gave me a good if not exceptional BBBJ, with lots of eye look and some pretty interesting hand stimulation while I was fingering Milan. I CIMed with Joy, met my friend and hopped in taxi. To be noted, or maybe it was just the increase of JDs- coke, but i had the feeling that the curtain holders participated much more in the action at the second bar. I paid for my firend and myself a bill of around 9K + 1000 for each of the girls.

Tuesday had to work and catch up on mail, so did not do anything worth mentioning. Not even the auto-administered HJ to find some sleep.

Wednesday went much nicer. I worked 1st half of the day and started exchanging texts with a freebie that i managed to keep ashore for the few days. Lame excuses on my part, once again such as "no more load", pretending not to receive her SMSs, etc... I definitely wanted to see her, but not spend the whole time with her, since I was sensing that she could become a bit invasive. Let us call her T, she is 24, has a six year old girl and pretends to work on a contractual basis in a call center. Would not know. And don't care much. The SMS chat had been since quite long time, she was actually sort of fun, talking freely about sex and what she does and does not do. Well there is not much she does not do... After some exchanges the night before, we sent an uncalculable amount of SMS during the day and set up to meet at the Manila Robinson Mall. Old and present amateurs of night life in Manila will note the proximity to famous hunting places.

We finally met, a bit later, even by Manila standards, than agreed, and i was not disappointed. We took a walk in the mall, then went to eat a bite in the Amazonia, which was close enough and gave us time to break the ice and start thinking of more serious pleasures. Before I forget, there was an attempt by a teenager to pickpocket me in one of the side streets, so beware... To cut it short, one hour after we met, she was (mind)blowing me in a room at the Sogo in Edsa Pasay. And it went like this for three hours, interrupted by some nice cuddling. Total GFE, lots of sex and an overall extremely nice time. At the end, I resorted to a technique I recommend. I had asked one of my staff to send me an SMS with an alerting note and repeat every 2 hours or so. Once I was sure I wanted out, I just had to open my inbox, look horrified, show her and explain I had to go. Worked perfectly, she was even sorry for me that I had to leave and do this damn so urgent conference call.

I then went to my place of stay, packed my stuff, and by that time it was already 12 midnight. With a flight at 9, it was time to go to bed and have a nice night of sleep. Which, of course, I did not do. Instead, I went to Burgos. There, I went here and there, back to Montana and Ivory where I got groped, paid a LD in each, and left my cell number to make arrangements for closure time. Which I also did in other bars. In one of the other bars, dont remember now, I accidentally met one of the girls I had been chatting long time ago. Which was really a nice surprise and a nice moment. She litterally fell over me. We chatted, I bought her a LD and we agreed to meet outside. So there I was, the clock having passed 4AM, and I had all this text messages, where ar u, I thought u would wait for me etc... These girls are jealous, and I did not realize Burgos is so small. To make a long story short, girl 1 saw me talking to girl 2, which i was actually rejecting at that time to keep option girl 1 and 3, of course girl 1 got mad and went, at that time got SMS of girl 3, telling me "why u talk other girl, i thght u want to meet me, bye", and at the end, I was going to end up empty handed. Which would not have been a drama, but still a bit frustrating. At that time, Joy from I vory, saved me, and called me over. I ended up with her and a small, very small thing, in a crappy motel I think in front of the 7eleven. Really a dump, but at 4 50 AM, with quite a lot of alcohol in my blood, a plane to catch later, the only thing i wanted was one last CIM. Which actually happened. I must give a thumbs up to these two, Joy and Irene (i think that is her name, also from Ivory). They worked on me for quite a while, which must not have been the most tantalizing experience in their life, and finally managed to make it happen. I have no idea of how much I paid in the whole evening. Don't care much.

I went back, got my bags, jumped into a cab, made it in time. Crashed in the lounge of the airline, woke up, actually the staff woke me up, to board plane, then crashed again in the plane, and only woke up when the stewardess instructed me to prepare for landing.

Can't love Manila more than I do. Did it cost ? yes. How much, not clear... Will I return ? Yes, crawling or swimming or flying... When ? If I knew, I would be the happiest man on earth.

    Very Short Burgos Barhop

I spent this past Thursday at the Makati Palace on Burgos and thought I would do a little barhop to check out the latest and greatest goings on in the bar scene. I'm sorry to report that NOTHING was going on in Wild West, High Heels, Mirrors or Billboards. Each place I went into, I was the only customer there. I thought about going into Flamingos but it was getting late already and I was burned out from a week in AC so my last night in the Philippines was spent solo getting caught up on rest. Not exactly the way I had planned it. I was just too tired for a taxi over to EDSA.

The girls are not happy about the lack of customers. The funny thing is, at least the ones I talked to blame Mayor Lim for the lack of tourists in Manila rather than the high prices of Makati. The start of the high season is off to a rough start on Burgos.

MANILA, Philippines - A powerful blast rocked a crowded shopping mall in Manila's financial district Friday, killing at least eight people and wounding dozens. Police in the capital declared the highest state of alert and did not rule out a bomb.

An initial report suggested the blast was caused by a cooking gas tank in a mall restaurant, but Metropolitan Manila police chief Geary Barias later said the explosion was at the entrance of the mall and its cause was under investigation.

"It's too early to say if it's terrorism related," Barias said.

In the past, Manila has been a target of Al-Qaida-linked militants, who have waged a yearslong bloody bombing campaign in the southern Philippines.

The explosion extensively damaged the Glorietta 2 shopping complex in Makati, toppling roofs, destroying walls, and sending debris crashing onto cars outside.

At least eight people died and as many as 70 others were hurt, Barias said.

"I was told by officials of the explosives and ordnance disposal division that it could be a bomb, but it's not definite yet," said national police chief Avelino Razon.

President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo said in a statement she was "deeply saddened" by the incident and ordered police to investigate "and to leave no stone unturned."

Witnesses told radio stations they saw bloodied people being helped out and carried away in ambulances. An Associated Press photographer saw four bodies covered with blankets.

Taxi driver Mario Em said he had just dropped off two women at the mall when the blast hurled them against his vehicle, killing them instantly.

He said he pulled one of the victims, who was pregnant, from underneath his car.

"The blast was so loud I lost hearing," he said.

People inside the mall scampered toward the exits when the blast shook the mall.

"One man who was in front of me was already dead. There was a child but we don't know where the child is now," said witness Dennis Inigo, who was shopping at the time of the explosion.

"The man's wife was with me a while ago, and her leg was shattered. Many people were falling on top of each other," he said. "It was loud, and then it became dusty."

In 2004, Abu Sayyaf militants, notorious for kidnappings and beheadings, blew up a passenger ferry in Manila Bay, killing 116 people in the country's worst terrorist attack. The following year, four people were killed and dozens wounded when a bomb exploded on a Makati bus and two southern cities.

Several months ago, authorities were alerted to an alleged terror plot to plant bombs in Manila's business districts of Makati and Ortigas, said a government counterterrorism official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

A bomb explosion has likely hit a shopping mall in Makati City early this afternoon that killed at least 8 people and left several others wounded said Philippine National Police Director General Avelino Razon.

Ayala Corp spokesman Alfonso Reyes confirmed that the explosion occurred at around 1:40 p.m.

Investigators have identified four of the dead as Liza Marquez, Jose Allan de Jesus, Lester Peregrina and nursing student Janine Marcos. They all died of shrapnel injuries.

    I have also noticed this:confused:

Well, I broke my 1st rule and went to Burgos street last Thursday night. I had a longtime GF with me, so I knew that I wasn't going to barfine and I was figured "what the hell".

Stopped in Bandios first and it was DEAD. We were the only customers, had one drink and bailed.

Went down to High Heels and it was also DEAD. We were the only customers and we stayed for 4 hours and no one else showed up. I dropped 8000P, but I promise that it was money well spent.

As soon as we sat down, we had two girls on us and they stripped and the party was on. My girls says that she don't like girls, but she sure licked and sucked enough Pik Pik and Tits as I did. Now I know why some guys go to Burgos instead of EDSA...because you have the whole bar to yourself:D Just hold on to your wallet.

    I love the Philippines!
