I have been to Manila before and know the score about Burgos, didn't check out any other areas. I will be staying near greenbelt. Do you have any recommendations of bars that I can meet girls who aren't on duty? I am in town for 2 days and would like to do a hit and run.

Posts: 1194I have no experience with calling escorts in the PI, so cannot speak from experience there. Common sense says the danger of dial in is you never know what you will get AKA seeing is believing. Some, myself inmcluded, also enjoy the thrill of the hunt but for those that just want to get straight to the kill so to speak calling escorts might make sense. You certainly will pay more for the convenience. I would worry more about bait and switch (ie girl does not match photo, does not deliver as promised, etc.) than tropublewith the police though.
While prostitution is technically illegal in the PI, IMHO you'd have to be pretty stupid, unlucky, or both to have ANY legal issues from paying for sex provided you stick to legal aged girls. If you DON't PAY as agreed, THEN you may well have problems with the PNP (who will help a hooker collect a fee, and will add on a service fee for their efforts in collecting from the deadbeat John).
I hate smoky bars more than most guys, but PI is generally not that bad in that regard (unlike Japan, Indonesia, Spain etc.)
Good luck if you try it.

I found one by perusing this very forum. He'll take you to a place where there will be 15-20 young lovelies all willing to satisfy your urges. The only problem is, you need to start filtering: "girls with no baby"; "girls under 25", etc.
Good luck,

Isnt it way too much of time and effort invested to to go a physical place, drink and inhale the heavy smoken laden atmosphere, and then pick up a girl. ISnt it sooo much easier to call an agency and have the served up to you? Even if all you pros here prefer the more macho pick up routine, arent there anyone who tries or wants to know about the dial in options? There is hardly any descriptions about that service and no review of call in agencies and the girls they have. Also the experiences and good and bad about it. What worked, and what didnt? What precautions should one take? Any recommendations? SO that if someone wanted to stay in and enjoy, they could do so with the combined confidence that this forum can bestow? What say?

I have been to the Hard Rock and the Greenbelt area in general but it was sometime ago and my Alzheimer's is kicking in. :) From the maps I've seen, there are 3 Greenbelt areas. What is the difference between them and which would be the best one to go checkout the freelancers? A good taxi dropoff point? I know I could walk around between the 3 but that's a lot of area to cover in the heat and possible rain. Also from what I can tell, there is more than one Starbucks in the Greenbelt. Which would you recommend? Any areas to avoid? I appreciate any and all advice.
Thanks

In my week+ in Makati/Manila I only used a semi-pro once (found around 1 am at Cafe Havana) and most of my time was spent keeping my internet girls content, in bed and out. Here were some places for wining and dining and funning around:
Strumm's: A live band bar near Burgos Street. It's on Jupiter Street. The band on the night we visited was pretty famous and the girl I was with was impressed. Next to here is a sports bar with good eats and it also shows rugby matches, which my Aussie pal liked.
Filling Station: In the middle of sleaziest Burgos Street but still good for bringing regular girls. It's one of those 50's style places, a place for a good feed.
Cafe Havana: Yes, I also picked up a freelancer here but it's also a good place to bring a girl. It's in Greenbelt 1, just across from Landmark/Glorietta. They have Arabic sheesha pipe smokes and also sell top of the line cigars. It's often hard to find an outside place to sit so get here early or just tip one of the waiters a lot.
Greenbelt 1 other: The top floor above Cafe Havana has a good Spanish restaurant with paellas and other favorites. It has a good view over the woodsy part of Greenbelt, a rare chance for a nature-like experience in Manila.
Hard Rock: Of course it's also good for the band and eating at night. But I found it useful in mid-afternoon on a weekday. I was just breaking the ice with a new girl. The place was empty and we got a table in the billiards area looking out over Glorietta and the Shangri-La. Shooting pool and all the 'inadvertant' bumping and rubbing and general clowning around accelerated the warming up process and getting some action.
Ratsky: Actually in Malate in Manila but I can't be bothered to make a separate post about it. I actually like the Ratsky in Cebu better but this one is also okay with a good band.
Mall of Asia: This is the new one just off of Roxas. It has an up to date (IMAX?) kind of theatre that the girls like to go to. And of course Manila has endless malls just for strolling, killing time, eating and watching movies.

Posts: 1194RL: I Would Not Worry About the PNP Too Much
EVERY offense has its price (i.e. you can buy your way out of most anything in the PI). Just look at Marcos good friend Romeo Jalosjos! Sentenced to death for child molestation, he "purchased" a 12 Yo girl fron her father who was also sentenced to death, Jalosjos lives in luxurious "confinement" serving out his sentence (the poor father's conditions of confinement are MUCH more spartan) .
For all I know he has managed to buy his freedom by now.
